Thompson Park Boat Ramp

Mayor Thompson made an agreement with Fish And Wildlife to do the upkeep on the boat ramp. The lower end of the ramp has 15 feet of mud 8 inches thick making the ramp useless for its intended purpose. How about sending one of those million dollar parade floats (fire trucks) to wash off the mud and make good the cities word. Its a 10 minute job, shouldnt take more than 4-5 hours.

I have always wondered WHY the water park needs to make money ? Why can't the gate cost be adjusted to just break even and give more kids the opportunity to get to go because the gate fee would or should be lower ?
possibly

I would think occasional upgrades ,unforeseen repairs and extra staffing for peak times should be considered instead of the customary "pool skimming" that appears to have been going on.

slow to grasp arent you. A free waterpark pass is missing money, property sold for less than its worth is missing money, money paid for services not performed is missing money ...... so uh yea money is missing , do you understand the term "public trust"? You think maybe thats what is "implyed" ? You should probably read the audit before you tell people what it says.

That's right but you can bet if there was money missing both the audits would have said that .and Moore a CPA didn't even understand the reports.

The state auditor does not do criminal investigation. What is interesting is the auditor turned over the audit results to the Attorney Generals office, which does do criminal investigation.
