So if I shoot a unarmed person and yell self defense that's ok? The person is smaller than I and has no weapon. I should just get off Scott free without incident? What if that was your son? Brother? Nephew? That was killed. Wouldn't you have questions and want justice? I know I sure would!

Unfortunately, your story doesn't match the case at hand. Did you listen to the evidence?

Trayvone Martin was up to mischief and looking for trouble that night. George Zimmerman was part of a neighborhood watch and observed Martin peeking in to peoples windows. He had plenty of time to have made it home but was up to no good and when he figured out that Zimmerman had contacted law enforcement he ambushed him and tried to hurt him. Zimmerman had no choice but to try to get to his gun and protect himself, which is what he done. Zimmerman is not guilty by reason of self defense.
This doesn't make sense, Martin would not have attacked Zimmerman knowing the cops were coming, he would have ran.

DIFFERENCE IS, OJ SIMPSON was guilty of STALKING and SLITTING the THROATS of to innocent individuals while almost decapitating them in a FIT of RAGE... ZIMMERMAN shot a man one time, when the man in a FIT of RAGE, was trying to BUST the head of ZIMMERMAN like a coconut... NOTICE, how it pisses KNEE GROWS off when someone other than KNEE GROWS, kills one of them!!! IN ZIMMERMAN'S case it was self defense, or if you will, an act of survival...

If your going to talk the talk, You have to walk the walk!! Zimmerman took the easy way out, He couldn't back up his tough guy image(HE COULDN'T FIGHT)So he shot the guy! It probably was self defense in his eyes (ZIMMERMAN GETTING HIS ASS KICKED) But in the jury's eyes he will be guilty!!

And you must be one of the Village People - in a government housing village. In case you're wondering why no charge of stalking was filed, just going in the same direction from a distance is not stalking under Florida law. When you double back and strike someone in the face, however, that is assault. And all over the country, self defense isn't murder.

Then you know there is way more to the story than just walking up to an unarmed person, shooting them, and yelling "self defense" - right? That would be an entirely different case.

you are either stupid ,or absent minded ,or both.
if you do a little research on recent criminal history, you would have known that "the murderer" simpson was found "NOT GUILTY",so while you type a lot, you aren't saying anything relevant....so go read a book or play with your tinker toys and STFU!!!!!

Being on neighborhood watch means you're a tough guy?

Absolutely, You must know how to handle situations that arise without shooting and killing someone! Surely you watch COPS on T.V., they don't shoot and kill everyone that resists arrest, they taze them, man handle them or maze them!!

Except that in all the time he was doing that he never tried to arrest anyone. He always called it in - just like this time. When you're in a public place, you have no right to double back and attack someone for looking at you. Doesn't matter if that's how they do it in the hood. Gotta be better than that.
