He definitely will NOT be getting my vote neither - letter in the mail, personal visit, or not. It's time for a change in the office and it isn't going to happen with him or his "crew." I haven't seen one thing that he has done beneficial.

My letter went straight from the mailbox to the trash can..

Ithink the west end of knox co. should be a seperate county in itself.I lived there for over 20 years and it was like you are in no man;s land, but it sure beats living in Barbourville.J.M.Hall is the first judge exe.that i can ever remember not ripping the co. off and going to prison,or nearly escaping going.Think back over the last 30 years about some of the people that have held that office.I think J.M. and Homer Lee were probably the most honest people that have ever held that office. I may be wrong.

I don't think Hall has been in office long enough for all of his skeletons to come out. I'm sure they will soon enough..

99.9% of politicians aren't honest - the .1% that is could never make it for being honest. So, I give up on trying to elect an honest man. That just doesn't happen.

In my opinion, i'd like to see a whole new crew take office. In my opinion it wouldn't take much to beat what we have now.. And, it can only get better.. It definitely couldn't get much worse.

I hope it happens. I can't figure out why anyone would want to be a politician in Knox Co.

He did not get my vote the first time and he will not get it this time. He thinks his a ladies man, and all he wants to do is line his own pockets. Look what he did with the hospital, it was all over money.

As far as I can tell he has not done one thing to help the county. All he has done is ripped the county off.

Citizens, elect new people.. New elects, clean up the offices and don't drag the "helpers" of the past situations through your term to continue lining their pockets as well..

I don't see how electing anyone new will help unless they rid the employees that were in the making of the past "rob the county" episode.

Just my opinion though... I may be wrong.

I will NOT vote JM Hall. I don't know the other candidates that well, but the way I see it is it wouldn't take much to beat what we have. I haven't seen one thing that JM has done that has benefited the Corbin area of Knox County and not much that he has done that has been of improvement in the Barbourville area. We have a hospital going bankrupt, an issue between 2 school systems, benches were removed, unemployment rates have sky-rocketed because our officials don't work to try to bring some sort of revenue into our county, we have had 2 companies go on strike and I haven't seen a single article from Hall on either of those debates, traditions have been suddenly been removed, magistrates haven't recieved funds to fix roads that need it terribly and on top of that we had an audit reported in our local newspaper that showed Hall's true colors.

I don't mean to be long-winded, however I just hope and pray each and every night that we can finally have an official that will bring the county up, rather than down. It's time for a change. It may not happen, but I will sleep better knowing that I tried to vote for what I can only hope is a positive influence. Of course, time will only tell.

I wish you the best tomorrow .I will be there to vote for you.If you don't win maybe it's just because they don't want honest people in the courthouse.Remember when Gary Brittan, was in office and tried to do what was right I really don't think Knox co. wants people that can;t be manuiplated. good luck!
