They need to contact Billy Hicks. He has shown interest in coming back to this area. If I was central I would pick up the phone and see if he's interested. He could put them finally on the map. When you hire mediocre coaches you get mediocre results. It's time the administration takes the next step to become a first class program.

I've been thinking about this all day I see Facebook post i see topix post and all I get is people trying to defend there self there loved ones and coach. People is losing ok. Is it better to defend then to win. It's sports. These coaches can't get it done. It's a matter of time before we start losing players just like the girls team. Then we give the coaches a way out they blame losing on players leaving. If they all stay like the team we have now, those 5 starters can play anywhere around here, they stay, they try they play hard but they don't win. What now. It's the players can't be coached. People u got to hold coaches to a higher standard. I think every coach deserves a chance to win but when it don't happen you have to move on. It's not all about winning but you play sports to win its not Saturday league. Just like everything else we are a little slow around here. KC needs a change its time. Should have not hired him back.

Maybe Chad Marsee can get on the track team this spring. He would be perfect for the high jump and the 100 yard dash. I can't wait to watch this guy try to play basketball for the next 2 years. The people we sat beside of from Clay County asked me "What is even doing on the floor" I began to watch him closer and started thinking that was a good question! He was a lot better player in the 7th grade than he is now. The other 4 players on the floor spend half of their time waiting on his fat ass to get up the floor.
His name is important enough for you to talk about. He has made a great name for himself while you sit behind a computer screen and bash it. If anything I'd say you're just a no good fat ass coward who lagged in high school. Your jealous comments towards Chad just give him more support. The support he deserves. Show some respect. He's making something of himself while you sit on your ass talking about it. You're the one who needs to join a track team. Run off some of that hate, bitch.

Last time I checked its a team coaches included! This just proves ur a idiot who knows nothing about sports! Coaching is 10% of the game you can prepare kids the best you know how but at the end of the day you can't score for them or play defense! Do I agree with everything he did?? No I didn't.....NEWS FLASH!! Even if he won a region title by 20 points some people would still disagree with his coaching. Why?? Because he wouldnt have played the "right" kids, or he didn't press enough, or some crap like that! In other words no matter who they hired you people will never be happy!

I think Evans is in with the right people at KC and have heard already his job is safe. Just have to say if Dinky had that talent they would have won multiple regional titles by now. He gets it done with a very "SMALL" crop to choose from. All that said I think Evans is a good coach but not the motivator or strong willed coach who will do what's best for the team and not the people behind the seen that use politics to keep control over the program.

On another note I am a not a Mike and Mike fan I listen to the Panthers game and they talk more about officiating and foul ratios whatever that is (only when KC is losing by the way)...then the actual game and great game that was taking place. I was very pleased last night Mix 96 replaced them with Olly Hall from the Olly zone and John Mills to do the Barbourville game if you haven't listened to these 2 guys your missing out they do a great job. Maybe the Mix owner needs to listen too because fans wanna here the game called not cheered and complaining about refs. Guess the same politics take place with radio as well. I can't attend games so always listen and Olly and John made you feel like you were there. That to me is what it's all about.

Go Panthers
Go Tigers
Let's go fishing!

The facts are that KC has had the most talent of any school for several years. There has been several times KC basketball has been ranked in the state. They've dominated teams in the regular season. What's the point I'm trying to make? So why didn't these great teams get over the hump? It's not just one coach, it goes from Swafford, Prewitt, Broughton, and to Evans. These coaches couldn't handle the big moment and crumble under pressure. The game I watched against Williamsburg was just another example of a coach playing not to lose rather than attacking a weaker team. If your the better team you can't let a weaker opponent hang around until the final minute, because that usually leads to a disappointing result.

The 10% post is killing me. What are u talking about. It's sports, people get paid great money to evaluate coaches and players. AKA AD and super. That's not how we do it at KC. That's why the banners are flying and that's why we lost to a below 500 single a school. Your a dume ass blame the kids that why we ant won a region in 40 plus that's why are girls team is a sinking ship, it's all the kids fault. You most be teacher or something because I here alot of them so the same shit about are students grades and test scores. That's the problem u are like half of Knox county. Makes me sick. What a joke. Don't post no more please.

Bashing a kid... A kid... That's Knox County for ya . Chad Marsee is ranked the best "big man" in the region so stick that where the sun don't shine.
