Know i'm talking about people that work everyday jobs like for the knox county school system or Wendy's that don't make enought money to take care of themselfs so they also can get food stamp and every week just like you they get taxs cut out of there checks and I see nothing wrong with work a min wages job and getting help if you need it some times that is all the people around here with little to no education can do for them selfs and there family and they are getting up off of the ass and trying more than i can say for half out this county,

I think you are taking everything wrong,no one is putting anyone down for drawing foodstamps, what was said is that most likely the people on here that's complaining are most likely not even paying in taxes so they shouldn't worry about what people do or drive at their work place.

What you're saying is people drawing public assistance don't count as citizens of knox county and they need to keep their mouth shut......RIGHT?...... You know you're wrong don't you?

What im saying is that people that get everything free in life an don't pay taxes to begin with shouldn't get mad for a man that does pay taxes for getting a break now an then by getting a little free gas.People just want to make to big of a deal out of it.

What he was saying is simple for anyone to understand and should not be twisted up and confused by a a confused person.

If you do NOT pay taxes, you do NOT have a say so in how the money is spent.
Let me make it more clear for you. If you and I should ever go out to dinner and we order pizza and you have NO money...I am going to order what I wish to eat. You should be happy to eat.

Let me know if you need further clarification

You just remember this, people that draw public assistance also vote. Judging by what some have said on this forum, over half of knox county is drawing some kind of public assistance and that's a lot of votes. I hope that's clear to you.

That is no more theft than people that don't tell the truth about everything they turn in to the foodstamp office or whatever office they are dealing with.Very few people tell 100% of the truth so they can draw more, that also is theft.

No I don't agree that its theft because I don't know everyones case.I know for a fact that some are included in their job,im not sure about every case thow.I have a close frien that works for the city an he drives the city truck anywhere he goes because its included as part of his salary.

well how is this for an example.Would you consider it theft if your so called "friend" was in a very high position in the city department,he decides to build a house. He actually sends city workers down there to work on the house while they are receiving paycheck from the city. And lets say this house is in corbin, now would you consider this theft?

I don't know what their pay packages are and I don't know the county employee the original poster named. But I do believe the question was reasonable and fair. I'll stand with their right to ask it.

This seems to be coming down between county workers and people that draw checks and foodstamps,so let me ask you,if you was drawing from the government and you mowed your neighbors lawn for 10.00 would you go down and turn that income in or would you let it go?

What???What the hell kind of question is that.I was asking you a simple question about what you considered theft? You spoke of your friend driving a city vehicle..that was part of there salary...then i questioned your morals about theft..you may need to reread my previous post.Actually im done with this.Anyone can see your an idiot. And i think that you are the one who really needs to do there research on what is going on over there.Because trust me i know exactly what is happening and has been for years..have a great day

This isn't a contest of who's the biggest thief. Its a question about county worker's using county owned vehicle's for their personal conveyance and should the judge executive stop it?

True, I can't understand why people try to be so hard on others for drawing public assistance. Especially in this area. People apparently just need something to gripe about.
