Is he a good attorney for Social Security? I've heard mixed comments. I heard from some he is good and he won't take your case unless he thinks he will win, but he holds out trying to get more money. Tell me your thoughts.

Yes, he's really sharp. Especially if you have a legit case.

I've been in the exact same situation for the last couple years...just try and hang in there a little longer...it can cause anxiety and depression also ... if you're not careful.... it sure put the stress on me....

remember also,

even after you get your approval, it still takes a month or two to get your money....i got mine on the 28th of last month and still haven't heard a thing!

There is another post on the forum that may give you a better insight. IMHO you should use Morgan-Brashear-Collins, they got mine for me in 4 months after Paul jerked me around for 2 years then lost after going in front of the judge. Please do yourself a favor and run the other way. After 2 years I still had to bring him up to date on my case 10 minutes prior to going in front of the judge, once in front of the judge he never opened his mouth to defend me, we lost and then he wouldn't appeal my case and dropped me. Within 4 months after he lost my case, Morgan-Brashear-Collins took my case and won it !!!! Like GRID Lock said I had anxiety and depression building for 2 long years, it was terrible, I wouldn't wish it on anyone.

THat's teriible! I'm sorry you had to go through that. IT is very frusrating to say at the least. Becoming disabled is such a terrible interuption in someones life. One day you are living a semi-healthy life and going to work and the next you are unable to and you have no income and for me I've worked the last 20 years and having been denied and waiting to have my case heard before the judge for an appeal is almost overwhelming. I was told it could take up to 10 months to get the hearing scheduled. It worries you sick.
