The sad part is, ammo IS too expensive to fire warning shots! I love to shoot, but the ruling entity that is our government found a way around gun control, didn't they? They seen that we the people would not stand for disarmament, so they jacket up the price of ammo so high that we cant train properly. I seen a 500 round box of .22 LR the other day priced at $65! Ridiculous.<quoted text>
I got one! I got one!! I got a sign that says "Due to the high price of ammo, there will be no warning shot".
I found a way around that Anne girl, reload your own ammo. Hard cast bullets penetrate better anyways.
If you haven't shot your primary defensive weapon in six weeks or more, chances are you're ineffective with that weapon. Like MM said, we need to train until it becomes muscle memory, like a reflex. It is sad that we live in a time when that is necessary, but we do. Train train train, its fun too! I can take the wings off a gnat at 100 yards with my old 30-30 its a dollar a shot a wally world, I reload them for about .35 cents a pop which is still too high.
