Way to GO, "Betty"!! ROFLMBO!!
I'm not even close to being "trailer park rich" from mine, but I've got enough to redecorate the two rooms in the house that I've had my 'eyeball' on this winter, hehe! A new coat of paint on the walls with some new curtains and bed spreads in each one, YAY!! A small mini makeover with a bit of extra pocket change left over to splurge on some new spring flower bulbs to put outside in a few weeks! Spring and summer flowers outside make for some pretty arrangements inside. Perennial bulbs, of course, hehe. I want my moneys worth.
I might get some more Peonies. Those blooms smell SO heavenly floated in a bowl of water in the house.. I have a few white and pink Peony bushes planted here and there already but I've seen some deep red/burgundy ones in a few flower magazines that I'd love to have..
(Nope might be an old seasoned biker broad, but she still likes for things to be pretty and feminine, hehe).
Wish we could grow Gardenias here. I adore them.
Glad you're having a blast, Betty! Tell us all about your adventures when you get finished having fun! Just where ARE you anyway?? LOL!! Are you sitting somewhere at a slot machine with an umbrella drink? Sitting on a beach somewhere with an umbrella drink? In a cabin somewhere with a hot drink and the fireplace blazing??
DO TELL! Sometimes I live vicariously through you all on here, ROFLMBO!
we are in hardin county.

i wish i had got enough for margaritas and gambleing :) we just got enough to blow at the super market and a few other stores and take a mini vacation to gatlinburg.

just got back from evil walmart and price less.
my big steal today was a 30 pack of charmin double rolls for 9 dollars and a pound of strawberries for 1.34 at price less and pork tenderloin for 1.99 a pound at walmart that i ad matched down from 2.79 a pound.

now im headed to kroger..... they mark down all the stuff going to expire starting at two. and i have coupons for rotel that already on sale for .49 cents.... the best kind of food is free food.:)

plus they have a foe magic bullet for 14.61 im looking into.....i do love a good smoothie.

guess i shoulda kept my mouth shut and just went with the casino .......but its nice to know there is somebody out the in this world who still thinks i could be making money right now instead of spending it.......
be back in a awhile....just a little broker

We're like a finely aged wine. Men can shelve us and over look us in time, thinking that we're too old to be that tasty any more. But allow us to breathe for a few minutes and we can beat the socks off that young stuff.
:)
It is a family feud. The Rhode Island Red hen is partial to Big Chief Fat Feather because he is a solid white Plymouth Rock and not related. The 2 young roosters that she beats up on could be her brothers LOL I guess she is just not interested in an incestous relationship. hehehe

I had ordered some RIR sex-linked chicks for pullets only, but they shipped 2 extras that turned out to be roosters. Big Chief is the only named chicken and is the only chicken I have that was raised here as a baby chick and survived and this is the only home he has ever known and as long as we both live, he won't be leaving here. His mama and grandmama got eaten by varmits which won't be eating anymore. Other varmits might, but they won't.

They actually had a 7.0 a few minutes ago. The west coast, Alaska and Europe is really blinking on the map full of earthtquakes.

Strong 6.9 earthquake strikes Colombia; no damage reported
USGS via EPA
An intensity map shows the location of a strong 7-magnitude earthquake that struck southwestern Colombia.
By Andrew Mach, Staff Writer, NBC News
A strong 6.9 magnitude earthquake jolted southwestern Colombia on Saturday, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.
The quake, centered 6 miles southwest of Pasto, was 80.5 miles deep and was felt in Quito, Ecuador 123 miles away.
There were no immediate reports of damage, the Associated Press reported, but USGS Geophysicist John Bellini said when earthquakes are this deep, the potential for significant damage is diminished.
USGS originally reported the tremor, which happened at 9:16 a.m. ET, as a 7.0 magnitude earthquake.

Have a wonderful day, I will check in later tonight and see if anyone has posted. Enjoy our weather, we are lucky.
GO CATS!!!
Good game wasn't it? Best game Cauley-Stein ever had IMHO. And if they hadn't had so much foul trouble (plus the ejection) it might have been closer. I love my CAT's, I hope they continue to improve. They look a lot better now than they did at the start of the season! Nerlens surprised me today, no blocks until near the end!

Yes Nope, Older women are SO much better than young. They don't have a clue and many have not learned to ah, "enjoy themselves". My wife of 40 years gets better every year (Yes, I robbed the cradle) She was 15, I was 16. We grew together. She is now like a rare wine as far as I am concerned.

Why is this still being talked about in this forum? It happened way more than a year ago and it has nothing to do with the Bible. Does everything that comes out of Harrodsburg have to come from the Bible? Some of you people are so dumb ... well, I give up!

Wow, no posts for the last 9 hours. I guess the people that stay up all night spinning locations and Ids are either sleeping or resting in peace.

My wife of 41 years robbed the cradle. I guess that is why I am still here and she isn't and I suppose I have always liked older women. My bottle of fine wine is empty.

Pray tell, what did you do to those varmints? I have an idea, and it's not a nice one. I rescued an old hedge hog from my dogs a few years back. Caught him in my kennelcab carrier. Brought him inside and looked him over. He stood up on hind legs and checked us out, too. Other than gray hairs and aged looking eyes, we determined that he was unhurt, just outnumbered. So we gave him a ride in the truck to the back part of our property, and released him. I told our neighbor about our rescue. Come to find out, the neighbor had been trying to shoot that varmint for years, but could never get him. Boy, was he frustrated when we told him we let the varmint go safely. But, he said, "What else can you expect from Yankees." LOL

She's still with you in many ways, I am sure. She's just on the other side of the thin veil that separates you two. When it is your time, the veil will be lifted, and you both will spend eternity together. I'm certain that the "waiting" is difficult, but time zips by quickly, as I have found, and it won't be long until you and she are reunited by the Grace of your Creator.

That's why I post from "no Location." Topix spun me to so many places that I got dizzy. People at first were suspicious of me because of my ever-changing location, so I put a stop to it and deleted my location. I live in Lebanon, KY., and have for the last 15 years. Prior to that, I was born and raised in a little town up north called, Uxbridge. That town was smaller than Lebanon was, at the time. It's now grown and is included in "metro west." Glad I moved from there when I did, before all the "city folk" moved in and tried to change the character of the town. I could never figure out why city folks moved to the suburbs, ostensibly for peace and quiet, then immediately start trying to change the small town to resemble the city they left behind. Go figure.

With each passing day, I'm finding that more and more apparent. It's becoming quite clear just how many socks and different unregistered user I.D's he may have actually flown under on here.
Plus, some of the things that were continually being blamed on other people, were more than likely coming from his own keyboard as well... Those Topix "crimes" he was blaming on other people, have stopped completely on this thread now.
Funny that.
I took a peek into that "other" forum this morning and saw that 'someone' is till trying to pull themselves off as Mr Farter.
(Failing miserably, but still up to it).
Common sense tells me that this is no doubt someone from within his immediate family or one of his real life friends who're trying to do some localized damage control.
My feathers would be ruffled too.
I guess you are right looking at the long gap between posts and only having one page to read back on almost everyday since he has been gone. One of his friends is trying to start a dedication thread but waiting for topix to approve a picture? I do hope whoever is posing as him stops. No one believes it now.

Alright, someone else who watches UK. There were two at one time besides myself and I hope they come back now that the thread has settled down with Una's passing. I was hoping those refs would swallow their whistles it was so bad they couldn't even play consistently. I have been telling people since Christmas, don't rule our Wildcats out, they are young, but will be jelled by March. I am loving Polson (KY boy) right now. He is making a difference. From the looks of the #1s not having it for long, I bet they still hope they don't see UK in their bracket. hahaha

That Louisville 101/Notre Dame 104, 5 overtimes game was something. Too bad, so sad for Ricky. haha

Good morning, Abeliever and AW, et.al. Beautiful day today. I still feel sad for Una, regardless of his foul posts. I think that he was a very lonely man, embittered by something that happened to him. I will continue to post because I like to get others' viewpoints on topics of the day.
Have you seen the white present folks up north got? I am sure glad that I don't have to deal with that anymore. I have a hard time with even the briefest cold snaps that we get. Hope you all have a good day. I will pop in and out but I really have to get to some chores.

I told them at my 40th when they said I was over the hill now, I politely told them that two 20 year olds couldn't hold a candle to me. hahaha We don't get older, we get better. Yeah, like fine wine. hahaha

Over the hill and enjoying the view...is a good one too.:)
