I assumed that to be the case based on your comments to Hemp about happenings in and around Somerset.

That is some set of lips they have for an icon! I'd beware of them.

Me too. I'm about 1.25 hours southwest of Lexington, and 1.25 hours southeast of Louisville. at the point of an inverted triangle.

Somerset is about my best travel option for shopping, groceries, etc. Nothing is really "close" for me.
(I do like living in the boonies with no neighbors, but it comes with it's pitfalls. Only about once or twice a month though when I have to fight the crowds at their stores there, hehe)!

DANG IT! Phone just rang again. AND IT WAS A SALES CALL! Those stupid credit card things wanting to help you lower your interest rate. I DON'T EVEN USE CREDIT CARDS FOR GOD SAKES!!!

How in the hell do you finally get yourself off of their call lists?? I swear, I daydream of suing the pants off of them so often...

I agree on the boonies. I am 12 miles from the nearest real grocery and go once a month. I do have a gas station with milk and bread about 3 miles away.

The National "do not call" does not work. The ones that get to me are the ones that want to give a discount if I put a sign on my lawn. Who would see it? I don't think the birds, squirrels, rabbits, and deer can read. LOL I am a 1/2 mile from anyone at the very end of the trail.

Lala, you are right about the politics, but they have been saying since 2007 that the President wants to disarm Americans. I don't see it. Please show me an article (not conspiracry theorist) or video that implicates he is wanting to violate the 2nd Ammendment. I have yet to see any truth to that. Did he just allow concealed weapons on federal parks land in the last few years? I only see them trying to strengthen the laws on the books already i.e background checks, restrictions on assault weapons and mental health issues. No one is taking Americans guns away from them. Just show me where that is implicated. BTW, I don't think those assault weapons should be in the hands of anyone besides soldiers and law enforcement. Are they really necessary for hunting? NO. JMO
Wait!!

It's got to be the weather. It's warm for winter, but so dreary. I slept nearly all day, which is very much out of the ordinary for me.

I guess it's the weather, Roaming. Not much going on in beautiful downtown Scottsville right now. The most exciting thing I saw in town today was one of local Topix's most elite subjects, knocked up again. LOL.
