Hi, AB. Thanks for the words of support. I'm going into things with a positive outlook..

I am extremely pleased to hear what you're doing for our military vets. I am affiliated with the VFW but don't participate as much these days as I have in the past. I miss it. Maybe I'll get back into it with some zeal again one day soon. My home post is out of state though and that saddens me a bit, truth be told.

As far as the prepping lists we had on here, I've tried twice to go backward to find the portions of this thread that included them. I gave up. It's impossible to find them now that this thread is so massive. Maybe we should just break down a re-list our items again? I'd have to update mine anyway, as I had added more items as they came to mind.

I also decided today that I'm NOT going to Ebay my bug out bag. That would be like saying I give up and I'm letting "it" win. That's NOT the way I roll!! What a stupid comment that was, saying I was going to get rid of it. But of course that was before the Xanax calm set in and I could do some clearer thinking and come up with a game plan....
:)

Everyone who wants to place a list of items on here that they have prepped or might be in your grab and go's, let me/us know. I don't want to put something on here that would bore people half to tears any more than I probably already have to date...

You will be fine and now you have some topix friends to pray for you and wish you the best. Glad you are not giving up your Grab and Go Bag. I posted a couple lists awhile back as we compiled them so I could email them to family and friends because a lot of them were without power during the ice storm and remember the Storm of 94. Even Fort Knox closed down for a week. Loved that pay to stay home. lol

I will post it again. That site I posted for WKYGirl is still there.

As the wolf was removed from the endangered species list in each state, the federal government has turned over control to the local authorities.

A collared female alpha wolf known as 832F to researchers and '06 -- for the year she was born -- to fans, was legally killed Thursday in Wyoming outside the park's protected area. She was part of the renowned Lamar Canyon pack.

It was on ABC news but you could put the key words in and see many sites/news media. Plus pictures. I could never shoot anything unless it was coming to kill me.

I hate to read these articles. Bet the hunter feels like crap, if not, he should.

INTERESTING FACT:

12/12/12 is the last repetitive date we will ever see.

12 minutes,12 seconds after 12 o'clock on December 12th the time will be 12:12:12 oon 12/12/12/ This will not happen again until the year 2112.

Coming up soon...

Reminds me of a good Rush song:

Rush - 2112

Guitar and drums kick it. Back when music was music played by the artist, not computerized, synthesized, etc...etc

Wish I had a dollar for every time I heard this one..

Rush - Working Man
http://www.youtube.com/watch...

My favorite by Rush.

Rush - Closer To The Heart
http://www.youtube.com/watch...

First biker party my sister dragged me to was blaring Rush, Fly By Night and 2112.

Watch, Peace, OJG, I miss our music night we use to have...

That's funny fake Imposter. lol Save your howling, the full moon was last weekend. It is a sad day for all who love animals, especially a special one as this wolf shot legally outside the protected land it roamed.

Have a goodnight!

10. As a wise man once said, meteor watching is a lot like fishing. You go outside. You enjoy nature all around you. You hope you catch some!
Meteor Party!
You know #10 reminds me of an stuttering girlfriend back in day and we tried watching meteors back to back but it went something like this........,her,," me, me, me, me, me" Then I'd jump in "meteor?",, her, "never mind".

HAPPY BIRTHDAY HEMPBURN

I hope you had a good one.

Maybe the vultures ate the crows and will move on. hahaha

There are some strange things to notice here lately and we are closing in upon something......

Birds and animals always know first.

I wonder if there are any Native American or Mayan prophecies involving the vultures like stories about the Eagles..Ancient Wolf????

Beings as you stated that wolf was collared, the hunter had to have noticed it. NO HUNTER that I personally know would shoot any animal that was collared, tagged, branded, nadda. I doubt seriously he felt any pangs until he was found out and it was made public. I might be wrong about him, but I'll stay wrong regardless of the circumstances around the case. I can't bring myself to Google the story. I don't like things such as that. So I'll rely on you all to tell me if I'm wrong about him and he shot it by mistake. I still say he had to have seen the collar.. Specifically if he was using a scope. Even though my shotgun has a scope on it, I've NEVER killed a living creature with it. Never been hungry enough or broke enough to have to. But I can still see a fly on a tree with that scope, so you'll have a hard time convincing me that he was clueless.

I can't watch hunting shows on t.v. either. Even "The Swamp People" was too much for me. Killing those gators in their own habitat with baits and trot lines just hurts my heart to the core. Gators that far back into the wilds of the bayous are NOT a threat to humanity. Go after the ones that stray too close and become RUINED because idiots illegally feed them for a thrill, thinking it's "cool"...

God bless that wolfs spirit as it makes his way back home to the Creator.
Human beings. They strike again.

They have certainly left my comments up, what few I've made here, that is.

On the wolf thing, that is atrocious. I have nothing against hunters, don't see what they get out of killing for sport, but as long as it's legal and in season I can't say much about them.

I myself hate to kill any animal unless absolutely necessary. I hunt for food, only when and if I need that food. I have killed varmints trying to get at my livestock, hated to do it, but had too.
Good night everyone.

The most famous wolf on this thread still survives. LOL Sad about the real one.

My cheap pizza was great. It was not made from scratch though. I take a Tombstone 4-meat pizza and add more pepperoni, country ham, sausage, shredded mozzarella cheese, sliced black olives and onions.I figure it costs about $4 to make. I buy enough stuff once a month at Sav-A-Lot to have a pizza once each week. Some of the ingredients lasts 2 months.

I will turn in soon. Dog has already gone to the bedroom and curled up on his blanket on the floor beside my bed and is waiting for me to come tuck him in. LOL Good Night folks.

I was getting kind of fond of the "Toots" tag that Imposter gave me though.
(NOT the vulgar parts though Imposter. Not those parts where you hated me. But Toots was cool.. It reminded me of the old days before I got so broken down and started falling apart physically. It took me back to the days when I was still partying my tail off and was out there riding every day, wearing the concrete right off the roads, lol).
