Hello Ancient Wolf, Hempburn, "Nope", all decent folks posting ...and welcome back Blueminer (they really missed you, can't you tell). I loved the Native American stories and facts we discussed early on in the thread. Wonder what happen to "wow". Can't remember the name they gave her. Do you Ancient Wolf? OJG might. I loved her stories too. Raven's post reminded me of this one I loved, I think you might have posted it: Oh, Great Spirit, whose voice I hear in the wind, Where breath gives life to all the world. Hear me: I need your strength and wisdom, Let me walk in beauty, and make my eyes ever behold the red and purple sunset. Make my hands respect the things you have made, and my ears sharp to hear your voice Make me wise so that I may understand the things you have taught my people. Help me to remain calm and strong in the face of all that comes toward me. Let me learn the lessons you have hidden in every leaf and rock. Help me seek pure thoughts and act with the intention of helping others. Help me find compassion without empathy overwhelming me. I seek strength, not to be greater than my brother, but to fight my greatest enemy.. Myself (my fears and my doubts) Make me always ready to come to you with clean hands and straight eyes, SO WHEN LIFE FADES, AS THE FADING SUNSET. MY SPIRIT MAY COME TO YOU WITHOUT SHAME. (Translated by Lakota Sioux Chief Yellow Lark in 1887). Out until late enjoying family Thanksgiving preparations and plans. Will be gone most of the weekend. Great weather, good food, loving family, childhood friends dropping by...Life is GOOD. I have been blessed. I am grateful everyday. Hope everyone has a Happy Thanksgiving and safe trip if your on the road. Enjoy your night!

Oh Humpaburn, your main ride is a friggin' stick horse and you know it. Your White trimmed in pink Dale Evans Cowgirl boots really stand out when you are galloping down the dangerous trail. Have you noticed old Buttermilk limping sometimes? I bet the old gal has "shine" splits too. Hope you don't have to shoot her. Man oh man, hope the wife don't shoot you.

Hope everyone has a Happy Thanksgiving and safe trip if your on the road. Enjoy your night! We have much to be happy and thankful for my friend. You of all people know that truth well. I am proud to call you friend. We have water to drink food to eat shelter to keep us from the cold and rain and wind and snow. We have the wisdom of those who have passed and the joy of those that walk with us still. I will always consider you a true human being and a friend. The negative has its small place in all things yet the light of joy always overcomes. Overwhelming light shines through the darkness banishing it and lighting the way for the true human beings who walk in light. I am a better person for having corresponded with you here. Your heart is true and your light shines bright for all with eyes to see. May you continue to be blessed my friend. Wado Oginali. http://www.youtube.com/watch...

You're not a good sport if you can't take a joke, and I barely even said anything truly insulting. Don't you like cupcakes?

Hey Blueminer, your village idiot thinks I am you and his son thinks I am Abeliever. I laughed until I about lost my dinner reading their silly posts before they disappeared. Have a good run at them for me.

You didn't say anything insulting at all Sybil. Sybil you are a silly fairy. The Fartman don't do that stuff, it's nasty. Now, quit your silly name changing and write Afakebeliever some poetry or something. Geez, Sybil you just ain't right in the head.

Turkey day approacheth. Got to get the bird in a brine later today and do any prep that needs done for the side dishes and such. I enjoy cooking but a traditional thanksgiving turkey dinner is more like unskilled labor, it's just a matter of get it right no flare kind of cooking. Nomally a ham and a turkey feeds the crowd with a few leftovers friends and family take home. I'm glad people want to take home a plate for someone,,but dang it, I never get leftovers, lol. Dark meat rules! Have a good one,,,,, trolls, not so much.

Thanksgiving has got to be a great time for the creatures where people that live in the "country" can set out a picked over turkey carcass and left overs along a woodline for them. Can you imagine being maybe a raccoon that happens upon a cooked turkey carcass, he'd wet his self with excitement, sort of like Uni would do if he won ten bucks on a lottery scratch off. You get the idea. I always put any uneaten items out for whatever may wonder by and sniff it out. Not practical in some areas but if you can I'm sure some animal would love it. Have a nice day,,,,, trolls, not so much.
