Nancy Rabbit had a free bus ticket any where she wanted to go, due to a accident! She was also rumored to be Gary Coleman's mom, I heard this rumor for years, true or not!!

I'm elderly, and i remember her back in the 50's. I saw a paper with pictures and the story about how she was Gary Coleman's grandmother, so i presumed it was true.
I heard the city of Barbourville built her a home because she ask them too.

I didn't know her personally, but knew several who did and they said she was a very sweet woman. God rest her soul!

She took care of more than just the police. A lot of high school guys with cars used to go see her. Went once with 4 other guys when we skipped class after lunch. She just joked and carried on. It was funny. We didn't have any money. That's when I heard her say, "you white boys come round here with a five dollar hard and 50cents in yo pockets".
