I getting tired of smelling burnt plastic/garbage all the time. I got enough breathing problems without your pollution. No wonder they think we are hillbillies around here, so take some of your cigarette money and pay for garbage pick up, its only 14 dollars a month. Next time Iam calling waste control, health department and the EPA. Have some respect for your neighbors and some self respect.

well if someone is buring something on there own property, or they rent and there landlord dont mind, there is nothing you can do about it. So stop trying to get on here running your mouth about people, as long as there not setting the mountains on fire whats the deal, you should just stay inside your house if you have a problem with someone burning something on there OWN PROPERTY. Get a life and stop complaining so dang much about crap that dont concern you, if you wanna call in on someone do it, but no one can do anything to anyone for burning on there own property, unless its that time of year when burning is not allowed cause of the dryness, then its not a problem. so find something eles to ramble about!!!

I agree you have the right to do what you want on your own property, HOWEVER, you are limited to do what you want up until the point it disturbs others. For example,You CAN play music in your home, you CANT play it so loud to where it disturbs others and evades on others rights of "quiet enjoyment of property" it is a legal term look it up. I dont want to stay in my home I have the right to be outside on my property and breath clean air, your the one envading upon my rights!

well, this crap is crazy, you are complaining about someone burning garbage, when people next door to you could be making meth or somthing and really hurting your health. Why do so many people insist on getting on here and talking about other people. I can and will do what i please on my own land, and if i want to burn from daylight to dark i will, and you calling whoever on me wont affect that in any way, cause I HAVE looked up the laws about this and there isnt one, as long as its not on your property. MOVE SOME PLACE ELES if it bothers you that much, or shut up, now just cause you have runned your mouth i might just burn all day long for a couple of days now, HEY EVERYONE IF YOU NEED TO GET RID OF SOME EXTRA GARBAGE BRING IT TO MY HOUSE, WE WILL HAVE A HUGE FIRE!!!

Oh and wouldnt you rather honestly have someone burning there garbage rather than letting it sit outside in there yard, causeing bad smells, and bugs, like roaches and stuff to infest all in your neighbor hood? I know i would at least the bugs wont feed off of burned garbage, ive seen many many places in this county where people should be burning there garbage rather than letting it pile up outside there house! Think about it that way, or maybe you already are infested with ROACHES and so it wont bother you, but i know i sure dont want any.... grow up people

Why not pay to have garbage service? Seems like that would save your time and energy.

Apparently burning plastic is against the law.

Violating state air quality regulations could result in a fine of up to $25,000 per day.

Kentucky Division for Air Quality rules do allow certain types of open burning: campfires, barbecues, small fires for warmth, burning plant matter from clearing your own property and wood bonfires on festive occasions.

Do not add tires to a fire. It is illegal to burn: tires and other rubber products; wire; treated, painted or finished wood; plastics; garbage; heavy oils; asphalt materials; building materials, especially those containing asbestos; paints; and agricultural and household chemicals.

sounds like you must be the garbage burner! no one wants to smell that horrible smell! we have children who have to breathe this crap and that cant be healthy. do you just not care about the health of kids? it is not fair that i should have to hear my kids cry wanting to go outside, but they cant cause all the burning plastic and hazerdous toxic stuff you are putting in our air. stuff that may have leftover cleaner, like household cleaner, bleach containers ect. cant be healthy to breath in the smoke off that stuff.

burning coal to keep warm is perfectly understandable. besides, people dont open windows during winter, and children arent outside as much. duh!

What is next.. No using your grill because the smell of food might upset my stomach? No starting your car because the smell of fuel may give me a headache? OR, is it don't mow your lawn.. the grass clipping really agitate my allergies.

Come on, get real. I agree - rubber and items hazardous to the ozone layer shouldn't be burnt. Nor, should things be set on fire during no-burn periods. However, other than that the property belongs to them and there are no law saying, "get permission from your neighbor before you set anything on fire." After all, I'm sure you do things that your neighbors don't like. Perhaps your online threats are causing them "anxiety." Especially since you don't disclose the specific area that you are talking about.

Seriously. I don't understand people.

that is all im refering to, the hazerdouse materials. plastics, things like that. bottles that may still contain cleaner, bleach, milk jugs. and besides what do they do with the stuff that cant burn? like cans, aluminum foil, metals and things. dump them some where when no one is looking?
