Very cool Q,

The detail is awesome, I think the only one I recognized is Honeysuckle?
What is the small orange colored one, lady slipper?

Thanks for sharing.

Pocket Field Guide to Kentucky’s Wildflowers and Native Grasses.

Your pics puts this book to shame.

Thought you might enjoy the book though if you don't already have it.

I posted this under simple things in life. Meant for it to go here, been hard to think lately, dealing w/RA, pain is sometimes overwhelming.

These are all beautiful pics in the link below, however, what amazes me most is you shots bring the flowers to life. I feel as if I could reach out & hold it in my hand. When you look at the ones in the link, they don't look real, except for a couple. They look artificial even though they are beautiful.

Your pics make me feel like I am in the cool woods, nothing but the quite sound of nature & the beautiful colors of flowers all around, no stress just at peace.

Your wife, friends & family as well as us viewers are fortunate to someone like you share the beauty all around us that we would never see without the pictures.

Somehow I missed this batch, do you know what the 3rd flower is? Really cool.
I have no idea... Like most the flowers I just see em and snap em.. On some later I look through the online flower lists and see if I can find them and then will add the Latin names if I can find them but for most when I snap them I haven't a clue what they are... But glad ya like em...

Like them all, what is the last one, looks like an orchid with stickers.
My fav. out of this bunch.
Those I almost missed altogether... I stopped along 11 on the way to Manchester to take the Yellow flowers and got back in the car and started to leave and saw a tiny blue flower close to the ground and in the weeds... stopped and took this shot ..again..haven't a clue what it is... thanks for the interest....

Why don't you use your head for once "spockets", Other than a target for shrapnel?. Make you a website for desktop wallpapers and sell calenders on the side, from the website or locally?

First I have a Web Site, actually several.... Second I take photos for a Hobby because it allows me to focus on other than the chronic pain allowing me to get through the day without taking pain med's... Third the photo's I take are posted for the general public as a way to promote S.E. Kentucky as my way to help our limited tourism industry.... And Personally I do not have the camera gear that makes photo's of high enough resolution to make them worthy of sales in the general market...

Your camera works just fine, either you have It's setting of resolution up too high, matter of fact I know you do from looking at those...

Turn it down, if not, your photo uploading/editing software is forcing them way out of order. I know you use one simply by you adding the "Q"...

And yes, you can produce calenders with a solid scanner/printer....
