I was the one that started this post and just to let you people know that I signed up on my disability last week. I waited till the election was over. I was hoping romney would win so the coal would have a chance to come back. Since Obama got re-elected I just signed up for a check like the gov. wants us to do. Its a shame but I guess if you cant beat em than join em

demand mostly, for the last 15 yrs. gas companies had been drilling gas wells like crazy. I was wondering why cause they would drill them, then cap them off. after they had drilled thousands they then offered the power plants natural gas to generate electricity for a cheaper price then coal. also last year was the warmest winter in history so the demand for coal went down, and finally scientists had figured out a way to convert coal into gasoine and oil but obama killed the plan, and also the E.P.A is haviong their little war on coal by blocking mining permits and making regulations so expensive for reclamation that theirs very little profit fo coal companies to make.

shame on you for signing up for a check if you are able to work in the coal business.ssi checks are not given to people just because they can't find a job.that what unemployment benfits are for.and i doubt you will get it anyway don't seem to me that you can't work .just mad cause you lost your vote.

The way I see it is I worked over 30 yrs. and dam I earned it.

Is turning this country into a socialist country. I get help and I voted for Romney. There is a difference between disable and lazy. It will just make it easier to keep having kids and the system paying for it. I know of 2 sisters that have several kids and live together. They get $1,600.00 a month in food stamps and trade most to the drug dealers. We needed a change and those who do not want to lose their free ride got their way.
Well its all fine and dandy but in most cases the fathers to these kids are the men that owens the coal mines...or the hud houses the women live in, Rich guys like to send there ugly woman to Church while they go to the trailor park and make out with a welfair mom then return home to there wife and then meet at the round tabel and make laws why poor men has to have a college education before they can use there penis...the Government took the jobs away my father was a coal miner and a stone mason worked until his ass drag his tracks out and could not read his name on the wall, and my mother was a scrub lady for the rich , her nick name was conner getter she was the best scrub lady in town never had a extra penny in there life to spend, but now my cousin is a Dr and got hands like a lily and sleeps until 12,00 and 1,00 pm and goes in to see patience until dark and makes more money then everyone in the family and whines about it....He should have to dig a ditch for 10 hours a day for $5 a hour he would sighn up on food stamps.

The rich dont want the poor to work , I believe that god give every man something to earn a living with some kind of gift , what happen to farming, Factory farms owend by one man, and took farmers jobs all across the land, what happen to the country store Wald Mark Happen, Its all there free ibnterprise is all gone and the rich greedy people wanted it that way so dont complain when you have to feed the grand Children of the people your grand fathers stole from 100 years ago , after all it does say you will reap what you soe soe bad seeds reep a bad harvest Amarica took all the jobs and turned them in to a machine and got one man to work it and paid him 10000000000000000000000 a hour so dont be upset if Mr Button pusher has to pay 100000000000000000000 in taxes after all its was his rules that took jobs away from the poor to start with.

Now this is just my opinion but I think sometimes that after the wars in the gulf and the way the world market is a changeing and life styles and how people are changeing , that just maybe the world knows that it not US needs elct power and they know Kentucky is loaded with coal , so they want to worry the country people the out of here with things like the drug war and all the regulations make life so hard on us that we all have to leave then they will come from all differnt parts of the world and build a newer versiobn of Dubai city in the hill of the heart land of USA but it want be based on our heritage but a world heritage anyone ever think that ? I do all this mess of turning the poor against the poor and all this coal rite under feet and our back yards and mountains , it may be that the wealthy feels that we are a sunstandard people that needs to ware out give up and leave south east Kentucky and give it to the world for there energy Europe would look nice in the applachian Mountains get rid of all the trailors and trashy looking areas and just remake this place all over in to a mountain paridice or turn it in to a coal field waste land and rob it of all its minerals and leave it a shit hole....I dont know what do you think? starve us out worry the hell out of us with no health care and fucked up phony drug war bunch of bull shit...they think we are retarted anyway all over the world sometimes I think it could be a reality but thats just my opinion.

Its to cold to live in North Amarica without elct people would freeze to death and starve , I know native Amaricans lived here without any coal and cars and trains and large citys , but we have built our coummity lifes grid based on elct to keep the town and citys going, so yout hink that this nations leading powers is going to leave coal in the ground and go backwards in to time and live in a tree house cabin or a rag tent and sleep on the ground , well of course all we need is medicine just keep nice hospitals and stop all factory farming and eat corn and beans and everyone grow gardens just return to pioneer days style of living drill wells and have schools we have become so industrialized that we cant think of life any other way, I wonder if kids knows what a chicken looks like , MC Donnalds Chicken Mc Nuggets , I bet kids thinks chickens is comes from sea shells like little round muscels and deep fryed at fast food restrants....lol.

you know that may just be the plan to put our asses in rag tents and take cars and say make you some wool blankets and go hunting in the winter and grow gardens in the sprint take all the guns and train us all in bow and arrows and javlins and swards and clubs, the most important thing would be medicine and hospitals and higher learning understanding the human mind a modern day very intelligent advanced people living in caves and tents and underground and in shannys no more cars, think of it this way the worlds population now is seven billion so I cant see each person having a two car grage home with a suv and a sports car and a truck where is the gas going to come from to fuel them? how many cars would that be fourteen billion engines needing gasoline every day? hahahah yes its going to be a reality...you can be sure.

you will have to hunt with spears and bows , and as Mexico infilltrates the western part of the United States you will start to see the races begin to blend its just the way things goes its the order of humaniuty over time get used to it , I feel that Amaricans will be trying to get in to Mexico more so then Mexicans will be trying to get in to the states all because the weather and no heat in the winter months Mexico has a warm climate it gets below 0 for days and weeks in the north but fair weather year round in Mexico....as Mexican trade with the world expands Mexico will become a richer nation then the United States...just my opinion.

South east Kentucky will become a coal field for the nations energy needs life will be made harder for the natives of applachia larger citys needs the coal and a greater importance will be in the larger citys and less intrest in the small dieing towns such as Barbourville Ky its just a little settlement not very much a value to the majors the more the people can be polices and regulated and pure pressure put on there lives the older will die out and the younger will move away then the world can move in and moe these mountains down and you may not see anything but mountains of coal going to every place in the world life in the applachian mountains will be for the mega rich only just a large energy region with few dwellers in it , the places where there is no coal people will build millions of apts and then you will have the gated mansions seprate and a very heavy police preance to keep the rich and poor divided...now that just one way Of loooking at it what you think? but the steem has to be turned up on the poor people that has lived here for generations to stress them to hopelessness and leaving this region so they will have a little better quality of life elswhere...just my opinion.
