Anybody know where a person can drive down to the river and fish? I'm looking for a nice spot to take my son with not a lot of brush. I'm not into pay lakes or the brick yard. Any help would be appreciated

I'm not a biggy on the fish from the river... I hear it's a lot less polluted than it used to be but I prefer a Lake.... And I would suggest Laural Lake... There are bunches of spots with with nice wide shore and places to picnic and walk the shore .... And it's a bit safer that the river if it is flowing fast like it has been with the rain lately....

The river is fine! If a small mouth bass and red eyes can live it there's nothing wrong with the river.
