I don't feel comfortable telling anyone they are going to go to hell and I certainly dont' know who will have eternal spiritual life in Heaven. It is easier to ignore things and turn your back. I simply believe in a higher power and I believe that higher power is the God of Abraham.
I believe the Bible is the inspired word of The God of Abraham and I quote it exactly as written. The understanding and guidance I recieve will differ greatly from the understanding and guidance others recieve. There is no universal absolute truth to be recieved from any man or book any man has written. No matter the possibility of translation errors over the years or the differences of interpations of the writers and translators. I feel the Bible and the Body of Christ under the guidance of The Holy Spirit is mans best hope in this carnal life.
Quoting scripture is not a matter of love or hate to me, it is a matter of telling others what I hear the Bible say.. The Bible tells me that homosexual activity is a sin against the God I believe in and my belief is not something I expect all others to support. Their support or condemnation is irrelevant to me....My God knows my heart..No ome else matters.
exactly as written? cmon now Phil, it was written 3-4000 years ago in an ancient language and translated into 3 other languages before it made it into english. Putting an awful lot of faith into the hands of scribes who were little more than slaves to the various kings arent you? I understand that you believe it was divine inspiration but it was tens of thousands sentences that didnt even have a period or a question mark .. a lot of speculation was in the hands of a translator

Jesus Christ taught and teaches today to be tolerant and patient and most of alll " forgiving" and "loving" to all those who repent and come to the knowledge and obedience of and to God the father.Absolutely no where in the bible does Jesus Christ accept or encourage those who refuse to repent of their sinful ways. Quite the contrary.
You or I have no authority to judge, judgement has already been made. If we try to judge and declare the guilty innocent we are acting as an appealate judge and trying to overide the judgement of God. Remember this..judgement is also made when you enter a verdict of not guilty.Accepting and making excuses for those who sin against God and refuse to repent is a slap in the face to the real authority spoken of in the Bible. We are not capable of righteous judgement....either guilt or innocense. Now......" What does the Bible actually say about homosexual activity?
I don't encourage anyone by saying it is ok to be a homosexual or to commit sin in any way. I simply make no judgment of them other than to say they are not living according to scripture. It is not given to me to say they will not enter the kingdom of heaven.

Like most people you missed the lesson in what Jesus did and said to the woman.
John 8:4 says the woman was clearly guilty, she was caught in the act.
John 8:5 says according to Gods law they should stone her to death.
John 8:10 asked where are her accusers, there were none.
John 8:11 says neither do I Jesus accuse the, go and sin no more.

If Jesus didn't accuse the woman what right have I to accuse her or anyone else of their sin? Think about that for a while.

To answer your question in a more respectful way I submit to you......First there are two deaths I face, A carnal death and a possible spiritual death. The Bible tells me that I must understand and seperate these two deaths...I can be dead spiritually yet walk in full carnal life.

The Bible says there are 6 things the Lord hates a 7th is an abomination to him. I have problems finding where the bible says there are seven sins unto death....( in those words) Or seven deadly sins...(in those words)

I do find these words.....Leviticus 20:13

If a man also lies with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination, they shall surely be put to death, their blood shall be upon them.

This is what I believe.....The act under the mosaic law or Islamic law demands death carnally. Since my mediator is Jesus Christ I beleive those who commit the activity can be forgiven if they accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior and repent from the activity, otherwise they have already died spiritually. Their punishment or reward is between them and God....Now...What does the Bible actually say about homosexual activity?

To get people to search and find exactly what the Bible says about homosexual activity. Most people such as you want to add or subtract from it, with all your imaginary intellegence or make excuses for those who sin against The God of Abraham. I asked a direct question... those such as you come back with ignorance instead of answering the question. You should try obtaining a political office or a bishopship with all your doubletalk , you would be very successful in those vocations. Now.......What does the Bible say about hommosexual activity, not what did Jesus tell the woman who was caught in the act of adultry. Got that mr. mountain man?

I don’t know exactly what the bible says about any such activity, but I know what my heart and mind tells me. I mean, why do we have one (a female) made with a hole in it’s front side, and one (a male) with a prong sticking out on it’s front side?

In all honesty, I’ve said some of the things that Phil said himself. If these men will gouge one another in the arsecrack, and they knew that no one would catch them, they’d mate ole Betsy the milk cow in the hay loft. I know damned well they would. They see no difference, as long as they can souse it into a hole. Cows, sheep, donkeys, slaves and God forbid small children have been abused for centuries by mentally handicapped males with prongs sticking out ready to penetrate anything that’s in front of them.

The wiring that tells them something's afoul seems to be missing.

I think you feel as I do Rumors.....I could care less what adults do in privacy, I have no idea where it will lead or take them and I could care less I neither love or hate them I am indifferent. I do have a problem when some person or government tells me I have to agree with them. That I dont have a right to believe what they do is wrong and refuse to support them.

Nice cast, but you threw the bait in the wrong location, keep casting a sucker will bite sooner or later. Plenty of suckers running right now. you might wanna throw a different color or weight or a deeper runner.

Its nice to have a mediator like Jesus between us and Gods wrath. I thank God every day for giving me a way into heaven, for God in his infinite wisdom knew I couldn't get there another way. I feel sorry for the modern day Pharisees and Sadducees always trying to convict there brothers and sisters before God. They don't realize in doing so they are rejecting Gods gift and the sacrifice of our Lord and savior Jesus Christ.

Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? If any man defile the temple of God , him shall God destroy: for the temple of God is Holy, which temple you are....New testament teachings by Paul in corinthians.

I do not have brothers and sisters who defile the temple of God, those people who defile the temple are your brothers and sisters, by your admission, when they repent from their sin and accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and savior ....then....they become my brothers and sisters.

Are you defending those who would destroy the temple of God? If so how are you going to try and lie out of that one or spin out of it , when you face the master? All humanity is the temple of God, dome to Honor some to Dishonor, there is no inbetween as you search for.

All mankind are your brothers and sisters, if not why should we try to reach them with Gods word? Why should we even care where they spend eternity? We are not here to only preach and teach among ourselves, we are here to be a light to the lost souls and we can't do that by saying we are better than them while walking them underfoot.

I am an adopted child of God, the bible plainly states that, That adoption comes thru the righteousness of Jesus Christ and his sacrifice at the cross. The bible plainly states that, That means those that do not accept Jesus christ as their lord and savior and reprent of their sins are not my brothers and sisters in this adoption.

You have some good points and you present them well . Your points are only supported by watered down doctrines of mans religions and church doctrines...not by what the Bible says. The reason there are so many lost souls that make fun of believers is because people claim to be a light to the world then they are really a source of darkness, with their hypocricy shining brightly. The Bible tells you to turn your back on those who continue in sin, not claim them as your family members. You need to do a lot more studying the bible before you start leading people somewhere.
