remember harlem of the 60s - 70s? Now it is one of the highest income, rent districts in the area. Eventually detroit will be rebuilt but the losses there are due to the outsourcing of jobs for the last 20 years.. and the inflation of property valus which were over priced to start with, a bank cant give a loan of 100k for property that is worth 50k... the banks now own all that property and it will be sold as a huge block to a developer.. it didnt become a ghost town overnight .. but it will be rebuilt all at once. I agree chicago is a failure but corruption has a long history there as do gangs .
forign investors will buy up those home that were lost and pennies on the dollar. but why would anyone want to move back there theres no work. Dispite liberials believes companies that makes jobs is what this country needs. yes the owners make the most money but thats the point of a business. when a company makes money they can hire more people which will mean more people with money to spend and other companies will build places and make more jobs. even 10 years ago jobs were platy and easy to get now there no jobs.

Big companies have spent billions of $ for the last 100 years developing anything they can to save labor. They are in the business of putting people out of work. They have succeeded, most jobs now are created by small business.

most of our manufacturing jobs was send over seas because its became to expensive to make stuff here. yes people should make a decent wage, but these unions keep demanding so much they had to leave. did you know the average auto worker in detroit made $40 and hour before they went belly up. Just this that times 10s of thousands making that much plus all the other things they got. No company can last long like that. people wonder why a car costs 30,000 when 20 years ago an equal model was $7,000.

I am a republican conservative. I believe in people who can work atleast go out and look for work and work if you can find a job. I'm for people who only want to get free stuff and sit on their butts not getting money that people who works earned. I believe that we all answer to a higher power (GOD). I believe in our government doing like most Americans citizens do that to live within our means. I believe in our constitution which give use rights all of us rights not just a special few. I'm for holding those elected be held accountable for their conduct which in office whether it be a jailer or the president. I believe that we all should have equal footing whether your black, white, male, female when it coming to treatment and opportunity.
YOU also believe that we should do away with the MINIMUM WAGE and that the WORKING POOR should not have HEALTH INSURANCE...

Our national debt is at $17 TRILLION.
Obama care is the largest entitlement program in our history.
It is 1/5 th of our GDP. WE CANT AFFORD THIS DEBT.
It's not a democrat or republican issue. It should be a team issue.
They fight about everything and can't come up with any intelligent resolutions on ANYTHING.
It's simple... A sports team that don't work together WILL LOSE!
IF YOU CAN'T afford something, DON'T DO IT!
Our President said he WON'T negotiate until this government shutdown ends but it won't end until he gets what he wants which is OBAMACARE!
The Republicans wii and are getting total blame for this shutdown but will the blame be directed onto Democrats if Obamacare Fails?
In my view the Republicans are trying to save this great nation from a disaster that we could never rebound from and everyone for some reason wants to crucify them.
I guess the right thing to do is joke about it as if the Republicans are a bunch of idiots but you (The Joker) have every right as an American citizen to throw your hat in the race and try to get into the political system in Washington. I'm sure you've got some wonderful ideas about how to get us out of the debt problem we have in this country because you seem like such an intelligent person based on your posts. Heck I'm a republican as you probably figured out by now but if you could possibly make your way in the congress or senate and came up with a plan that would bring this great nation back to where we should be then by all means YOU HAVE MY VOTE!
But you will probably keep on posting unintelligent garbage on a message board.

I'm all for a minimal wage. but forcing employers to have it on employees I don't yes they should have insurance in-case an worker is hurt or become ill due to job hazards. most small businesses would go belly up thats what libs dont get. not every business owner is a billionaire

Choosing between Democrat and Republican polluticians is like choosing between syphilis and gonorrhea. Still it's comical to read the arguments in blogs, forums, and chatrooms that are tantamount to "My venereal disease is better than your venereal disease!"
.
I'll pencil you in for syphilis.
Obviously the disease has rotted your brain to the point that you can't even recognize the fact that both parties are simply two sides of the same coin.
