Nooooooooo problem, the little guys dont eat much, there will still be plenty for the sweat hogs and beer bellies. Yhe kids love to watch them scurry and dart around, it will keep them busy so they wont be picking their nose while they eat......Got to be positive...Right?

Don't surprise me at all. I ate at Burger King and found a hair in my food with a nit attached to the hair. Talk about somebody sick! And the hair came from the short manager lady, I could tell it was her hair.

I think the Knox Co Health Dept needs to check them all more often. They should make Hamburger Hut get a public restroom or shut them down. We trust these people to be clean and they all suck!

You should be more concerned about who is cooking and handling your food at these places. The mice is cleaner than some of these workers. The mice keeps there nests cleaner than the workers at these places do.

Yes Burger King and LJS both need the health dept called on them! The rat infestation must be why LJS prices have went up, either the rats are eating all the food, or to cover the exterminator cost. Burger King obviously need to screen employee's hair for lice when they screen other things. That just makes me sick!

Exactly...A few weeks ago, it was Pappa Johns, Then Long John Silvers, now Burger King, who is Next, Wendys ? These places are only names, the one thing they have in common here is they are in Knox County and are operated primarily by Knox County people. If they are this bad, especially all of them, then you gotta think the problem is with the people working there, not the corporation.

The people are use to rats running around, hair in their food and food not prepared and kept properly, thats what they see and are taught at home. Not at corporate headquarters in some big city.

Whatever goes on in these restaurants as far as food prep and service is a direct reflection of Knox county and the way its people are taught by their families. This is normal, hairs, rats, and all the filth that goes with disfunctional families.

First of all we do all proper health dept regulated prcedures in handling and preparing food. but the building at ljs is old and run down and has openings to the outside which makes it easy for mice to enter the store. winter is when your more likely to have a mouse problem due to them getting out of the cold. as far as employees go we are not in control of pest control nor can we do anything to catch them. under the rules they must have a pest control company to do that. as far as the company goes its owned by a guy from middlesboro and they really dont care if its has mice or not and will try to hide that fact. they really only care about getting your money. employees have been threatened not to say anything about the mouse problem

we all know people who own and people who work in these local franchises, that is the point I make, its not some far away corporate dude that is in control of the resturant..its local people and in Knox county as well as the rest of the areas around here....thats scary, when you know they are handling your food. The mice chit will be mixed with the salad cause no one gives a fluck.

It's a sad thing but you are correct.Thats why i refuse to eat out any more.Iwill fix my food at home, atleast i have a chance of a little grease killing out the filth.People in this world are just to evil an love doing things to harm other people.I have just heard to many stories from people who have worked at these places.

Threats are empty promises, real action is preceeded by silence not threats. The problem will move to wendys or mcdonalds or taco bell just as it has moved from pappa johns to ljs to burger king. Just another everyday thread on topix, thats where it started thats where it will end.
