Let's replace all the people on the knox county hospital board. I know JM is one, but, who are the rest of them. They all had their hands in this deal.

What's wrong with it? I was there not long ago and it looked the same as it always has.

I think they're talking about the long term care located in the hospital.

ok peeps get it straight....The Long Term Care at the hospital is closing down due to funds...The new one being built on the artemus road is well underway and when its finished the Bville Nursing Home will close and all patients will be in a new home...Terry Forth owns the old one and the new one being built not LTC at the hospital.

He owns the hospital long term. He bought it and is going to add it to the new long term. The hospital is putting the old people out for not for losing money as you think. They are making big money off t forecht for the purchase off the license. The are not closing it. They are selling the 16 bed long term licence to forecht. It's all about MONEY!

They shouldn't be losing money off of it unless its crappy management. I've been in hospital healthcare for 10 years now and know from the way they run those things and with Medicare/medicaid reimbursement it prolly makes more money than the actual hospital. Makes you wonder if they lost their CMS certification or something. Which means they don't get paid no more. My mom started that SNF unit at the old hospital back in the mid 90's and got it off the ground. Sad to see it go, but that hospital has been a victim of bad management for years.

jm better save long term or he will be looking for a new job. He put the old people out of the courthouse when he took the benches out and now he is putting the old people out of their home at long term. Do you not think these people don't vote? Do you not think they have families who don't vote?
