Just curious about what is going on at Pizza Hut. Are they closing down or are they remodeling?

The Barboursville Pizza Hut is moving to a smaller building and providing delivery and carry out services only. I think that they said the new Del-CO will be in one of the spots in the plaza across the street from the pink elephant.

It is going to be a wing street pizza Hut where they have the wings and it will be better!! Carry-out and delivery only but I think that will be better anyway. It will be in the plaza near Edward Jones across from the Pink Elephant

I was a driver for them until they shut down. Them management black balled the employes and didn't tell us we were shutting down until the week before. Yes they are moving to river plaza and yes they are not going to have a dinning room and yes they are also going to a pizza hut wing street. Also the pizza hut in milton is shutting down and the building will be tore down and a pizza hut taco bell is going in.

Pandemonium central in the new place. Lost orders, orders wrong, orders not placed in the oven even though you called ahead and got there 5 min. late. Take your money then tell you you'll have to wait. No one there from the old place except the "owner".
curious

Pizza lovers stay away. Not even sure where to start. Extremely bad experience from start to finish. We were out running errands and the kids decided on Pizza Hut, so my wife called to place an order for a special we had saw on their flyer that came in the mail and the incompetent employee didn't even have a clue about the special and after arguing for 10 minutes, she put another employee on the phone so my wife had to go through the whole explanation again and he stated that was a "coupon only" special and while he kept insisting my wife didn't know what she was talking about, I pulled up the Pizza Hut site on my phone and placed the order in 2 minutes and told the ignorant employee not to worry about taking our order over the phone because in the almost 20 minutes they argued with my wife, I had already placed the order online and would appreciate it if they could now concentrate on making the order. He then argued that we could do that. He finally asked a manager who told him that he was wrong and had been wrong in his argument all along. Before hanging up, he confirmed the time the order was to be ready which was exactly what my online receipt promised as well. I arrived a few minutes after it was supposed to be ready only to find out they had just started making it. Guess I should have expected that since there were 4 other people waiting for their late orders too. When the cashier finally said my order was ready and my "wings" were going to be $12.70, I almost lost it. I told her I didn't order wings at which time she looked puzzled. About that time the previous customer who had left came back in and told her he didn't get his wings. The cashier says "oh, we'll these must be yours then". Several more minutes of waiting, they finally brought my correct order. Bottom line: horrible customer service, incompetent employees who don't even know what they are arguing about and insisting the customer is wrong, wrong orders, excessive wait times since it took over an hour for what was promised in less than 15 minutes, and the best part....while I was waiting on my order, I also noticed that not 1 employee making food was wearing gloves. I thought it was mandatory for food handlers to wear gloves? But what do I know, I'm just the customer. Absolutely without a doubt worst food experience ever!!!!!

What a douche. You're the customer that all restaurants dread. Bet you don't tip servers when you go out either. It is very possible that when you placed an order, so did the rest of barboursville. If that's the case, then the computers don't have time to update to a correct pick up time. You must think you're the only customer and you come first no matter what. Self entitled jerk. And, FYI, gloves are not mandatory until handling cooked food. And before you jump to the conclusion that I work there, no I do not. I just have human decency. This particular pizza hut has some good people working there. I was at the comfort inn a couple months ago and a delivery girl was there delivering a pizza when she overheard an eldery couple talking about how they lost everything in the California fires and they were heading to stay with family. She went up and offered to buy them some dinner for the night. She was willing to pay for their food out of her own pocket. I'm being the self entitled jerks don't to much, so fit her to offer was very sweet.
