Rumor has it that esquire has been sold. Does anyone know if there any truth to this?? Course is in terrible condition and not getting any better. They have let weeds grow up all around the course to supposedly make enviormentally protected areas and all this has done is to slow down play. Property values have to de dropping due to the condition they have let the course get to. What a shame could be the nicest public couse around.

Yea, everytime I go there I get mad, cause the course has so much potential, but it's such bad shape. I wish someone would buy it and fix it. I didn't golf when it was in it's prime, but I have heard that it was one of the best in the tri-state. If it was so good then, it can be that good now. All it needs is some TLC. About the green fees, if it was in good condition I wouldn't mind paying those seemingly high prices. If someone with money sees this, please buy!!!!!! Alot of money is to be made if the course was like Sugarwood or riviera. Those two are by far not the best but would bring lots of business in.

Are we ever going to get the sewers and sewer plant fixed? Maybe they should contract out the work, or sell it to a business that can operate this properly. Lots if problems.

Jody and Bobby are as full of shit as Midkiff, and as for the high grass the neighbor "Killer" designed it himself and talked them into putting it there, and I dont know how people expect the grass to look good when maintenance guys are spending 6 hours out of an 8 hour day under the equipment instead of on it.

I hope my company golf league moves to riviera next year. It is way closer to our plant and a while lot nicer. My only problem with riviera is the back 9 is too short.

Just a matter of time, somethng has to change. Esquire will either change ownerhip or go out of business.
They are losing customers quickly due to poor conditions and poor managment.
It has the potential to be the nicest local course. I wish someone who knew what they were doing would buy it.

I live in Esquire and it's not all snobs? In fact, I can only think of a few.. Not everyone in Esquire has alot of money either, that's a delusion. Also, it's been changing, but in my 17 years of life it's been on of the only places I know where people smile and wave at passersby just to be friendly. It's a lovely neighborhood to live in.:) I hope it doesn't run into a housing development yet. My dad loves the golf course.

They sure are a a few that think they live better and are better than others. I have seen neighbors walking by without even making eye contact or afriendly "hi". Those are the ones we could do without for sure. Those that do it you know who you are so try to find some friendliness in your heart.

My parents live on Esquire;they had their house built about 15 years ago. The course looks like hell and keeps getting worse. Definitely not getting any better. And down behind the clubhouse where they've got all that junk; looks horrible. It makes all of Esquire look like pure trash! Why is it that they can have all that blsht everywhere but we are limited to what we have and what we're allowed to do on our own damn property? That lowers the value of our homes. My dad golfs 6 out of 7 days a week. Pretty sad he hates that course so bad that he drives to Lavalette everyday to play on their course. Yal need to get ur sht tgthr or I guarantee u will find urself on the other end of a nice big lawsuit.

The sad thing is that there r pretty houses and then u can have trash right beside u....starting to look like a junk yard past club house...def doesn't look like a golf course
