I would like to thank all of the Barboursville D-Team for a great game today. Even though we won the boys from Barboursville played there hearts out and I thank you for that. I know there hearts were broke. They played a great game. Thank You.

Congratulations to the boys on a great game yesterday, even though we lost, you are all champions to me! Pirates D team had an awesome season and we'll come out next season and do it again!(as C teamers though :)!)
The HD had amazing coverage of the games in the paper this morning! Also, you can go online to HD photo gallery, Turf Wars and view more pics!

Thank you Wayne Mom for your words. They will be back next year And we'll do this again. These teams are both good. It could have gone either way. The Pirate coaching staff is truly amazing and as C-Teamers I hope The coaches move up with them. They have a lot of talent. They're a little small in size, but that will change. We'll have to buff them up . I LOVE THE PIRATES

Hey guys, Andrews momaw here, I so agree with you. Our little guys are awsome. Team Popaw can't wait till next year either. Gonna have a fun winter, Mini Andrew is playing Basketball at the Y, his cousin Blaire is on the same team. we'll be busy, at least we have 2 on the same team. See everyone at the BB games........

Hey all, Momaw here, just want to say I think my little fella is so fortunate to have made such good friends, and I hope this will last him a lifetime. And I have to say I've met some pretty amazing people too. You're a wonderful group of parents. I hope to follow these little guys for a really long time.That's what makes this group so special, as a whole everyone comes together and we're all there for the kids. I love being a part of Andrews sports family. See you at the court.

Michael is coaching again, they had their first practice last night and play their first game tomorrow!! This should be interesting!:)

Like to take a moment to remind everyone that our Barboursville Goodwill is a great place to buy childrens clothes at a great price. On the other hand for all of you that take trash and items that you know they can't sell for one reason or the other, shame on you!!!!!!!These people that work there have to go through all of the bags brought and I watched as someone unloaded kitchen trash. again shame on you. That is not a dump site. If you don't all of the wonderful things that GOODWILL stands for, ask one of the employees'. They are very kind and will not doubt be glad to fill you in..........

Did you all hear that D.C. is allowing Chesapeake and C.K. cheerleaders to compete in our small competition Sunday? Not only is this unfair to our conference, it's unfair to our girls!!! Why even have 2 cheer comp for each conference if they're going to cheat our girls? we didn't attend theirs and we should stand together and oppose this crazy crap.

I mean, they just rock! that's all their is to it. my son plays football on the e-team (which follows our d-team), and my daughter cheers for our d-team.(which, congrats to our girls as well. they took 2 trophies at the dc competition last sunday for second place in technical cheer as well as dance. then again sunday at the tristate competition...2 more trophies, that's right, 2nd place in both technical and dance AGAIN! They brung it, there's no doubt about that. Barboursville Pirates ROCK! I am so proud to be a parent of children that are involved in the BYFL. GO PIRATES!!!!!

did anyone notice that our e-team boys were never even acknowledged at the turf bowl? we won against ck...but, got runner-up trophies and nothing else was ever said about it...as though we never even played. i realize that we were only there because we followed our awesome D-Team...but, like in Sundays paper, all it talked about was the D-Team game and then it went on with all of the stats from A-D....nothing about our E-Teams. This really pisses me off. Not to mention the boys...they all worked so hard all season long and got the victory they got and didn't receive any recognition for it! And I'm not just showing favortism for my Barboursville boys...I'm talking about all those little boys that played on E-Team from everywhere...none of them received any recognition. This is so wrong.
