Barboursville A, B & C teams lost @ Wayne today. After a slow start to their game, D team won 30-14, taking home the 2008 Conference Champs title!!!
Our prayers go out to B team QB Sam Chittum and his family, who was hurt in todays game.
Next Saturday is B-ville vs. Milton, lets all go out and support our boys in their last regular season game against the Greyhounds!

**Reminder: The 2008 Tri-State Youth Football Cheerleading Competition is being held on Sunday, October 12 @ the Veterans Memorial Field House in Huntington. Doors will open to the public at noon with the competition beginning at 1. Admission is $5 for adults and $4 for children. All football players in their game jerseys will be free. Everybody come out and support your Barboursville Pirate Cheerleaders! They have worked hard this season also! GOOD LUCK GIRLS!!

how does everyone feel about the 3 play rule?

I don't mind it unless it comes down to a tight game and then I prefer to keep the starters in.

ok but there are parents out there that have kids that start and talk about how they wish there was no 3 play rule. if this is an instructional league how is my child learning anything when he does not play in games and sits in a hole at practice so the starters dont twist there ankle.
