The "software error" was the mouse click on the send button.
Incompetance was the cause, not a software error.

What a bunch of morons. Great way to take over the office Andy!Wonder how many people already paid these tickets before this article hit that probably wont be getting any refunds? So how much did this little "software error" cost, not to mention the postage for the correction letters?

Well Andy of the Clerk of Courts looks about as bad as Andrea Norris. All the notices of unpaid fines going out. Who is paying for all the postage being it was a mistake and the postage for the sorry letters that will be sent out? I guess Barberton is making enough money. Software error is always the best way to cover up morons mistakes. It is time to get rid of the morons and put someone in that can rid the office of all the non workers and goof offs.

It probably was a software error. Programmers are human and make mistakes. The people responsible for testing software don't catch all the mistakes. The people responsible for running the software don't catch the mistakes. All of these fall under the catchall of software error. As long as people use computers there will be software errors. And they will cost. Its useless to try to cast blame when there are so many ways for the software to fail.

Software errors due occur, however the Clerk of Courts database is their own fault. They had to give the wrong data (6,000 voided tickets) to the software company. Should have been someone checking the list before it was sent to the software consultants. It is Andy Padrutt's responsibilty and he shirked it. No respect for this guy who goes from goverment job to government job because he is a cronie with no education. His hometown The City of Green did not want him as their mayor, so why should we want him as our Clerk. Vote this idiot out of office. I'm voting for McNulty. What does everyone else think?

I agree totally, this Padrutt moves from one political appointment to another, with the help of his cronies. Must be nice to never have to take an interview! DUI, no education, and the whopping experience of being a councilman, whoopie. Makes me wonder what they're smoking down there in Green, they almost elected this numbskull mayor?
