Charter school eyes Hametown property

The Ohio Investment Group, currently operating out of Akron, is eyeing a vacant portion of an industrial building on Wooster Road West in the Hametown area to house its 25-student charter school and, they hope, a day care center.

If this is another of David Brennen's schools, it is time to put him out of business. I know someone who worked for them, they could care less if the students fail, they just go into the system & change a failing grade to a passing one. My friend's grandson went there, he learned NOTHING!

My kids went to Norton schools. My oldest one learned a lot because she applied herslf. The youngest didn't care so naturally she learned less.
Sometimes it is the school system, others it is the kids.

From the sounds of it, this group doesn't stand a chance to get the building rezoned -at this location.

I'm sure they'll keep looking, because there's big money to be had in demolishing the Ohio educational system.

Which source do you consider? There are several Hunkies from Akron, but only one original from Hudson. Pay closer attention when you are considering your source.
