My name is Lee Cuicchi and I am the General Manager of the Holiday Inn New Orleans Westbank in Gretna. Our property opened in February of this year after undergoing a $15 million renovation of the property.

While we do not wish for issues such as this to occur, we are very pleased that noone was injured and that our property sustained no damage during the incident. In fact, our property responded exactly as trained and expected during a fire emergency; from the alarms and systems executing perfectly to alert our guests, our hotel staff and the role they played in ensuring the safety and comfort of all on property, and the Terrytown Fire Department and their super response and expert diagnosis of the issue.
