I understand the restaurant had only been open one month. Did you ask for a managar or voice your opinion? It only helps restaurants when you talk to a manager about your experience.

Gotta agree w/ Ron. This place is the worst and should go down in flames (SOON!). Heather is a good server, but that can't make up for the awful food and if Heather isn't around the service is so bad it will make your jaws ache (from clenching them). Good barbeque, good service, good time? You're much better off heading to the Bayou down in Banner Elk. I've been going there since they opened in 2003 and their smoked beef brisket is AWESOME. I'm also fond of their fried okra. I predict Pete's won't be around after November of 2008.....

The Bayou, although advertised as a "family restaurant" just be prepared to listed to the
"f...bombs" not only from the drunks at the bar but from the waitresses also. Took my grandkid there for ribs. Food is great but atmosphere, really terrible. My last trip there.

I'm thinking of starting my own barbeque house. I have a fantastic product and the perfect location but I have no idea of what it takes to get started on a high scale level. Any suggestions?

Worst meal we've ever had was at Choppers in the Best Western. Food was revolting.
