But we now have Joe Sam Queen. He is going to look after our wells. He said so in his press release to all the papers

(Shhhh!! do not tell any one, but I think he is going to be keeping such a close eye on our wells that he will know exactly how much water we use. And just in case we use too much we can pay him..Now keep this quiet and do not tell a soul. We don't want this getting out.)

Well, if the changing weather patterns do us in, it is God's will. Waiting until the house smells bad to flush the toilet will not save us from that.

"Exploding global growth' is not a lot we can do anything about as long as men continue to have sperm depositors. All the abortions women in the world want to have will not save us from that.

Our government has long been controlled by untouchable people who are WAY 'behind the scenes'. There is not anything in this world we can do -or any person we can vote for- that will save us from that.

So, yeah, you better just leave my well alone. I may still have a shotgun and there is nothing on this earth that can save you from THAT.

Also, Joe Sam Queen said that he was misquoted by the AC-T and the AC-T corrected their error the following day ..Has anyone seen that correction? or is there something in Joe Sam Queen's drinking water besides a high tax. On the same topic Joe Sam forgot to mention that the Raleigh News and Observer had the same story on the same day (February 26 2008 ) quoting another democrat and said basically the same thing Joe Sam had said, but that was probably a misquote too.

You're the person that said we would never run out of water? What are you so concerned about? Everything is rosy.

"Easley called this month for a law letting local governments restrict how owners of wells can use their water."

Nice one Your Nibs! I am so glad this clown's reign is nearly over.
I've had a gut full of Tax Hikey Mikey and this is just another fine example of his legacy.

What an eight ball!

Be glad to see him go but he can still inflict a lot of damage before he is gone.

Easley should have had a meter on him all these years and it would have shown that he is the worst governor in NC history.
Oh by the way, meter my well and see what happens.
Absolutely worst governor. We can't wait to get him out!!!! Wells are prone to go dry in drought situations so I think most homeowners with private wells do conserve!

Someone has posted using my name.(the "go suck one" comment above)

I have long decried the policy of permitting people to post using pseudonyms, but this does it, I'm calling the Citizen-Times on this.

And there will be NO posts in my name on this blog in the future, until it requires positive ID.

Anyone that points fingers to race or religion as actual relevant factors within any discussion have a limited IQ. It's sad that the one of the most advanced countries in the modern world is saddled by ignorant people that actually feel entitlement by their majority or minority of race. I am a white individual, and am embarassed over how petty and deluded white people have become. I will always advocate equality, as some of our greatest advances came from aspiring minds that arrived as immigrants from other lands. Its funny, all us smart people, look at all the comments regarding race and laugh, because we are the real minority!
