I have lived in Soap Lake since 1963. What we don't need is a stupid Lava Light!!! What we do need is a job market to attract people to live here and keep people from moving away as soon as they graduate. For tourism, we also need something related to our Healing Waters like a Spa that people can afford to use, a factory, of sorts, that studies the benefits of the water and sells products made from the water and mud, like the Thorson's used to do--only on a more scientific level. Maybe some people could even get jobs there... Don't waste all that money on something useless like the Lava Lamp!!!
