This is to residents of Soap Lake and to the garden club all your work is en vein I went to look at the statue this evening July 19th. what did I see one of the benches had been defaced the wood strip from the seating area,one of the stones and the sundial flooring had a chip taken out of it,this is to bad that we don't have the city to watch after something that is for our benefit to enjoy and be proud of, it is a shame that we have out siders and the gangs to destroy what the garden club has work so hard for hopefully this problem can be resolved before it gets to far out hand,so sad it broke my heart to see this ,this evening,parents not watching their kids from climbing on the large stones to touch the statue,cigarette butts,rocks thrown all around to bad, this is heart breaking..
