Can an employer withhold wages for disciplinary action?

No, an employer can not withhold wages for disciplinary action. All earned wages are required to be paid on the scheduled pay date. Note: employers are required to deduct certain deductions as required by law or permitted through a collective bargaining agreement. Deductions, other than those required by law or collective bargaining agreement, require the employees signed written consent for the deduction. MIOSHA WEBSITE

So if you're working all day without a break, that's against the law. What you do during the break is up to you. Contact MIOSHA.

Sounds like someone needs to relax a bit. Maybe visit the new tranquility location. This is a small town business. Relax.

I was in Su Casa a couple days ago. The restaurant owner's wife is such a rude and horrible person! The demeanor in which she talks to her employees is awful. She has a very snuddy attitude and you can tell she has not interest in her employees well being. Such a shame, me and my family used to come eat at this restaurant every time we were in town, not anymore though.

Good and dandy but not until someone notifies the actual restaurant about these policies or stands up to them. Some need to let them know of this website,

I am sorry but the whole thing is that tasteless. I just do not feel the same about Su Casa anymore.

I really hate when people are taken advantage of. I met a young lady which just came to work for us a week ago. She left after having to look fir a receipt in a dumpster. That is just not right.
