It is like an old car fix and repair daily. Needs to be decommissioned- that takes a lot of $ also that is no longer available.
Sooo who do you think will pay to shut it down and where will all those lovely waste towers go built on unstable sand next to our beaches?
NO one wants Nuclear waste-or am I sure how much is really stored there and are we at full capacity yet? One question raised at a recent meeting with no answers?

Why does it need to be shut down? It could function for "perpetuity" with reactors being torn down and replaced every 70-100 years or so.
Or do you think our kids will not need energy to live comfortably
What waste "towers"?

They have been in the news as having a lot of problems lately. This concerns me since it is one of the oldest plants in the country. Does any one have any information or opinions.
