Review: My Fork Restaurant & Lounge

We have been to My fork in Bangor twice now. The first time we had a party of 4. No one cared for their food. We didn't go for the entertainment but 9:00 the bouncers came around to collect $5.00 for the band. We would have stayed longer and had a few more drinks, but they might as well have opened the door for us. We left and finished the night at Hero's. The second time we went was for a going away party through the base. I once again ordered, an appetizer this time, and was throughly disgusted with it. I told the waiter and he agreed they didn't look very good. I had him remove them. I left earier then the rest. My boyfriend asked for the tab from the server that apparently replaced the original. They charged us for the appetizer. He explained to the server what had happened and his reply was "I don't know what took place before I got here. Needless to say that was the last time I will set foot through their doors. I have nothing good to say about that establishment. I will remain a frequent and ahppy customer with Hero's.

My first time there and it was terrible!!! I will not go again. I went with a party of 7 and the food was bad. The service wasent much better, our table had no silverware and my brother glass had a lipstick print on it! also there was a game of beanbags going on which was loud and made enjoying our meal near imposible. if you were planning on going there I would recomend highly that you go else whare!

Have been there twice. Food is below average. Waiter was very polite, but I could tell management was terrible. It seemed as though there was no organizational skills anywhere. I think my waiter was also the bartender. Prices were extremely high considering the quality of the food. Hero's down on the waterfront is 3x better.

I'm sorry but I have to agree with the above. After getting some good feed back from a couple of people we went there for fried clams....they were out, but it was a Sat. and late so understandable?? We then ordered shrimp and scallops instead. My husbands shrimp were fine, my scallops barely cooked. I cut into two of them and wouldn't touch them. I hailed a waitress and asked if she could send over our waiter, she looked down at my plate and said " your scallops aren't cooked" The waiter came over and said he would take them back. To back up for a moment, the scallops were so uncooked that the bottom of the plate was covered in liquid. He came back with my plate after our entire party of four had finished their meals with a small side plate with just the scallops on it. They had thrown the original scallops back in the fryer so needless to say they were burnt and it would have been useless to even try to eat them. I could tell that the young man waiting on us was as mortified as I was so I couldn't see the sense of making a scene so I just paid my bill and we left. Just because they have a more casual atmosphere does not mean they have to have sub par food. I tried to find a email address for the establishment to send a message to the manager but I guess facebook is the only way to get in touch with them. Please save yourself a trip and go elsewhere.
