Even if you are not satisfied with the answer. This site is a SCAM and should be avoided and blocked from your browser. If you use IE use the "report site" feature to report this scam site. Avoid JustAnswer.com it's a rip off.

I asked a question about my truck. The "expert" told me some things to do, which I did not think were right. I spent a lot of money buying parts and paying to do what he said. I thought I must be wrong, since he is the "expert". My truck was still not fixed. I wasted money buying parts I did not need, and paying for work that did not need done. Furthermore I was charged twice on my credit card. At least 4 people told me what I needed was a fuel pump. I think I know more about cars than the "expert". Also, this happened over a period of almost a week, and I needed to get someone else to take me to work and back. Don't waste your money.

Total scam. Impossible to get the money from your JustAnswers account once you put it in. You have to spend it on an answer. Use Yahoo. There are some stupid answers, but usually one or two responses are valuable.

After getting an answer for one question, "JustAnswer" kept billing my credit card every month. I canceled my credit card, received a new credit card number and had to reestablish auto-pay for all my other accounts. "JustAnswer" somehow continued to bill my new credit card. It's mostly my fault for not reviewing my statements more closely. I would advise anyone to just stay clear of this business.

I do not believe it was intentional., I believe the site security problems. My bank cancelled my debit card within 15 hours of my using JustAnswer.com . There had been 2,400.00 worth of fraud transactions. e.g. Newegg, Zagg in Salt Lake, Apl*Apple on-line store.
Let me qualify this, I have had the same debit card for years. I am an IT person. I cut and pasted my cc number in the justanswer site to pay them their $30.00, but did not use that card, I used paypal instead. I have not used this card for anything strange, ever. That was at 23:00 on 2/1/13. On 2/2/13, the card started getting hit with thousands of dollars in charges. Red flagged my bank and they cancelled the card. Hopefully they allow the transactions to go through and have a controlled delivery and but this pud spanker in federal lock-up for a decade or so.
As I mentioned, I do not think that juastanswer was a party to the fraud or the theft of the debit / credit card information, but I will be sending them a follow-up on my letterhead. Happy trials.
Their $30.00 answer was worth the money, and the guy I communicated with was as helpful as possible, but it was not worth $2,400.00 :-) I would never use the justanswer again.

Just Answer, they give an answer from fake sock puppet experts they have to pump out the Google or archived answers amassed using human experts for a few months
answer most via sock puppet, they no longer have to pay 50% to someone to explain how to wire a thermostat for the 10th time!
If you will notice, there is no variation in the age and output/ratings of the experts they advertise, They are either fairly new or fairly old, the older ones are the fake ones, the sock puppets they use for many responses!
But beware, they have widespread scripting abuses and anyone who has been there is hacked, they could pull cash out like a Nigerian, However they are too insidious and slick for that 1 time move, they set up purposely contrary, vague agreements that leave even their own people unaware of what is really true, the rate and accept scam is their way to double bill you while acting as if they wont bill you to rate the expert, when they do! and will not pay the expert who sat online 12 hours to make $40 cause they get 50% and many simply say I am not happy and bail without paying, or do they? the web site has control accepts and is asked to rate, gets double billed, plus set up in a subscription for monthly billing, "pilfering" of many accounts, acting as if the manholes they leave uncovered that many fall into are by sheer accident, and the fault of them for not reading correctly, however even alleged lawyers could not agree on the slippery contradictions and constant state of flux as to the rules!, they tell them to ask for a bad rating to be reversed or rated period, then later let you go for buzzing!
Or verifying a fact they say you cut and pasted by verifying a fact! its really evil and carefully constructed, see this sites URL, it has Billy1961 in it, try and Google this and look at the fake entries on fake websites with ads threaded into the comments mentioning Just Answer or Bill1961 !!

Peer review was a good idea, but some experts were colluding with others to eliminate the competition that way.... on very thin pretexts.
