I'm not going to lie. Its my family that is in need. We have hit some hardships and Christmas was very bleak this year. I've tried to get some help from people in my town, but all I've gotten is crude remarks and mean comments. Here's the deal. We have four children, ages ranging from 2 to 9. We moved to our current town one year ago and it was the worst decision we could have made. The town is very high in unemployment. My husband is a hardworking painter but since the winter hit, there has been no work. We are behind in all our bills. My kids don't know luxuries like cable or internet (I'm posting from a phone, fed by the neighbors wifi) For Christmas this year, they got to eat some ham. Two days ago our power was cut off with them wanting 450 to turn back on.(All is verifiable) so for christmas, we're sitting in the dark. I'm asking for any help you can provide. Money you can send directly to the power company, an old playstation 1 you no longer want you can send thortant than them getting christmas presents. And top all that off,em or anything or any type of help. They received nothing for christmas and it pains my heart to explain rent and water was more imp my four year olds birthday is in two days. I get to see more diSAppointment on his face. This is not a scam. I'm just desperate and at my wits end about what to do. This is just a last ditch effort to make it. If it looks like a duck and quacks like a duck, it's a good bet that it really is a duck.

There are plenty of people in genuine need of help. Just look around your own hometown, and you will find plenty.

It's sad that scammers are taking the charity that the one's who truely need it could use.
