The reason they say you know what I am sayin is because out of habit they say.
Like for instance whenever people in Dallas, Texas say Every thing is texas is big or ain't nothing in Texas but steers or que eers. Its a habitiual thing. Such as, hey that girl looks good you know what I'm saying.
