Hello No! Why should the taxpayers foot the bill for HEB? HEB has the money and the taxpayers shouldn't foot the bill.

What City Council should do with that $1 million dollars is refund it to taxpayers if they are going to give it to HEB in the form of incentives. The practice of incentives is usually reserved to attract outside businesses. Let's get Kroger, Albertson's and others into the local market to compete with HEB. Competition equals lower prices and variety. Break up HEB's monopoly in the local grocery market.
