Missing pet adoption funds prompt probe
By Zeke MacCormack, email@example.com
BANDERA — A former Bandera County worker who handled animal control issues is under investigation after discrepancies were found in an audit of funds collected for pet adoptions, officials said Friday.
Jennifer Moore was terminated as the county's liaison on animal control issues after the audit irregularities came to light weeks ago, said Chief Deputy Richard Smith.
Cash some pet owners reported paying for adoptions wasn't reflected in county records maintained by Moore, he said, and investigators are reviewing more adoptions to determine the scope of the problem.
Moore, the daughter of Bandera County Justice of the Peace Herschel Moore, could not be reached for comment.

Now the killing has begun.
Three, count them three of Bandera's finest deputies can't seem to handle what one part time liaison was doing for animal control so now that they can't fill her shoes they will take the easy way out and kill the animals.
It has always worked like that- poor companion animals take it on the chin once again.

You know this is the same women that was dating two of our finest deputies, Blackburn and A. Tucker no wounder she two thought she was untouchable. At one time she was under Neely but he wadg to dumb to supervise himself. This is when she became her own boss. We see where that got us.

Jennifer came to be when the Judge and 3 commissioners signed up CCPAL to run their Animal control for another year and then voided the contract 2 mons later. They lied to CCPAL.
Enter Jennifer Moore part time employee of our infamous County Attorney Kerry Schneider.
Jennifer was hired as the liaison to take care of the kennels, if you can call them that, part time and Kerry was able to keep her in the County Attorney's office as an extra employee.
She is no better than a common thief as far as I can see. I hope they follow this and not just let her go.
Her lifestyle was fueled by adoption money and a job at the County Attorney's office.
Can't imagine what a person like her could have done to the county.
Remember she was under John Payne when this theft was discovered.

You heard anything about where this case is?
Funny how disgraced county employees just seem to fade away.
She needs to get all the attention she can get to show people who and exactly what this woman is.

Looks like because this woman is a JP's daughter this is running below the radar. Probably off the map entirely.
My question is why? If this Bandera County employee stole money why is it not reported in the newspaper?
How much did she take? What if anything is going to happen to her?
If this was you or I it would be splashed all over the front page.
Let's keep this alive until we find out.
