Everyone wants to point the fingers in the general direction of LEO's but I just have to say it. It's your fault. That's the general "your" and not pointing the finger at anyone in particular. Who chooses the Sheriff? You do, it's called an election. Who chooses the chief of police? You do, by electing the people who have over-sight of the office, the city council. Who allows the corruption to continue? You do, by doing no more than shouting at each other venom and vexation. Who is going to step forward and make a change? Will it be you? Or are you going to fall for the same bullshit lies that you have repeatedly,in what can only be seen as a deliberate act, selected corrupt, uncaring, incapable or ignorant individuals to office in this town.
Bandera citizens are good people, bad people, and we all know people of both sides. To throw names and accusations at any who wears a badge is to profane the names of officers I know and respect as good men and women. LEO's aren't above the law, and in fact, should be held to a higher standard than regular citizens. But the venomous way in which I keep seeing you people lump all badges with bad cops is profane.

Two of you keep screaming that this poster or that is a cop, and you call anyone a coward who doesn't agree with you and then fails to post their name. It's infantile, and it's that attitude police of all branches have to deal with on a daily basis.

You who are so nice and respectful to the officers when they are present, and talk so much much shit about them when they can't see you. You, and only you, are the ones who are at fault for corrupt cops. You can complain all you want, but it is you that has done nothing to stop it.

I have a criminal record, but can say honestly that I haven't met many LEO's who didn't treat me fairly and with respect. For that alone, they have earned the same from me.

Can you smell it in the air Shadow? No, just past the scent of that active meth lab close by....yea, you got......it's the smell of fear in the air! It's the smell of uncertainty! who will be the next sheriff? Will I keep my job? Why did I haven to stab those deputies that told the truth in the back like that? Oh yea it's because I care more about myself then to take that oath seriously when it comes down to it! Yep Shadow, it's really, really quiet! These back stabbing, corrupt LE officers can smell the change coming too. Right Jimbo?:). Can't wait Shadow....it's almost here.....CHANGE!!!
I can feel it comming in the air tonight.
That was a good song and not far from the truth. These deputies who put all their eggs in one basket betting Tucker would remain in control so lying to a Grand Jury was no big deal bevcause Tucker would only reward them. Now Tucker is gone and so is the protection. If I were the new Sheriff I would fire everyone of them that lied during the investigation and start new. At least the people of the County would understand you were serious about ending the corruption that has been this county for years.

I was going to take this apart little by little but WTH. This Ex Sheriff Tucker was "installed" by the republicans womens group. That made him the sitting Sheriff when elections came around.
Then Tucker had a big voter base in the Masons to begin the vote.
These Masons pull strings like nothing I have ever seen before.
I will tell you if someone tells me they are a Mason I automatically turn and walk away.
You my friend have no idea in the world what some of us here have been through with this county and you sound like an ass trying to lord it over posters here.
LEOs???? Yeah you sound like a cop or a criminal either way you should stay out of the discussion. If you are a cop you would probably be one of the ones that need to go.

I like acronyms and expressed my opinion honestly, LOL it's no surprise to me that you would be accusing me of being a cop or a crook, or both.
I like a good conspiracy theory as much as anyone, as I find them entertaining. More so when they have the potential to be true, so let me see if I have this right: A women's group of republicans chose Tucker as the sheriff. Once he became the sitting sheriff, the Masons insured that he stayed there...and until his resignation there weren't enough votes to replace Tucker? I'm not a Mason and haven't ever had the desire, don't know that anyone that I talk to is one either, so I'm fairly certain we have the Mason's out-numbered, no matter how secretive they are.

Speaking of crimes, as anyone who disagrees with you in particular, Shadow, seems in your eyes to be a criminal or a corrupt official, can you honestly tell everyone that you have never committed any crime, ever? Never lied? Never had one drink too many? Never gone over the speed limit? We all have, and I have little trust for those who say they haven't. I was simply caught and don't lie about it.
The point that I was trying to make in my first post is that blanket accusations of law enforcement officials being corrupt because they wear a badge is bigotry. All of us are responsible for the corruption we see and complain about. None of us are without blame. We either voted for them, didn't get enough votes for the looser, or didn't care enough to vote. It's the voters fault, the citizens fault...it's our fault. Pointing the finger at everyone but ourselves doesn't solve the problem, it just allows the weasels to keep us distracted and divided. Find people who agree that it needs to stop, and document what you see as being corruption, gather all those first-hand accounts and send them to the Texas Rangers, Internal Affairs, the FBI, and the press. Let the officials we believe to be crooked know that not only are they being watched, but that they are being held accountable by the citizens who voted them into place.

Calling people cops, cowards, and conspirators might make you feel like your doing something immediate, but all it does is alienate all those who are trying to agree that the corruption has to stop.

OK look criminal I may speed from time to time but that would be it.
You are now sounding loke a politician with that everyone does it. No they don't.
Most of the people who come on these threads defending law enforcement are either cops or related to them. Cop in Bandera County is a bad word.
Most are borderline criminals themselves. No bigotry just simple facts.
Laughing at how tucker was taken on board shows how out of touch you are. Or.......you are lying again.
The Masons run the County and if you don't know that go to the next mason's funeral and look how many public officials you see. Better yet go ask jusde Evans how many Masons there are here.
You are seriously out of touch or again playing stupid. Either way you don't need to be telling others your tall tails here.

I am curious about this blog...why is it when someone presents an opinion that goes against the officer in question they are belittled for their opinion? Why is it that some people who are for the officer, etc. think only their opinion is the correct one? Why do they care what town is below their name? Are others seriously not allowed to have a disenting opinion?
Why is this? Don't we all have the right to freedom of speech? According to some posters on here, not everyone has that right especially if their opinion is different from thiers.
Get over it there are people that see what the truth really is. Why is it, why is it, the what if or the why is game. If it's an issue stay off this sight.

The lack of leadership and all the errors made by the city leaders and the officers is amazing. Wrong is wrong, plain and simple. Corruption begins with small things and it grows. I wonder if you really wanted law enforcement or a private do what I say cheap security agency. It is very unforunate that your citizens had to endure so much for such a long time. I hope your city and citizens get a more professional respected law enforcement agency. If you really cant find the right people then just consider contracting with your sheriff dept or just do away with it completly.I wish your community luck.
