I have been with the company 6 years.
When I started ,Like most, I needed a job!!, although I planned to go back to school soon. Only after a few weeks I knew I was in the right place, and "canned" the school plan. Before I knew it, I advanced, with the support, and mentorship of my DM. Off my new career really went. I went from tech, to trainer, to production manager, and now,area manager in a new state.
Want a job that pays what ever you want right out of training,, offers advancement, and a huge amount of cont. training, along with support at all levels?
I got a place for you!

Actually, I am NOT the manager in WA! How long have you worked here again?? When I first started Lee was the manager and since he has been gone Jamie has been running WA! If you have been here any length of time you would know that. However, I also worked for another company doing rock chip repairs so I have more experience in repairing rock chips than anyone else in this company! So yes I AM THE SHIT!! Failed repairs happen that's why we guarantee the repairs for life and fix them when they fail ... dumbass!!!

Come on do you really expect to get a REAL repair from a guy who works out of a tent he keeps in his car. Real businesses have an addresse not some shitty canopy they bought a wal-mart. Nick is an ass kissing douche who encorages "Techs" who have no certification from anyone to lie. George is a lowlife creep who sexually harasses his female employees. They also have an F rating with the better business bureau. I wonder why that is? Go to a CETIFIED tech and avoid the tent. I use a tent for camping not auto reairs. Research this company. They have a terrible record. Dont take my word look for yourself.

so i was shopping with my fiance at the citadel mall when we saw a rock chip repair company. Ill start out by saying the five minute advertisment was a total lie we waited for 15 minutes before the gal even said hello then he had some paper work plus a phone call wich in my opinion should have been taken care when she was eating that burrito. then there was a phone call which she said she had to wait for before she could start the work because my car was made before 2000. the phone call took 10 minutes all the while the lady was smoking a ciggarette 2 feet from out car. anyway the work took 10 minutes and in the end it still cracked out a day later ended up having to replace the windshield. now maybe the work would have been better if it was a different person but the company on the phone which they called "national glass claim center" was full of incompatant people but over all i was appauled the lady who did our car was the manager and her name is cindy miller i dont suggest going to these people they are at both the malls here in colorado both chapple hills and the citadel and all our military basses fort carson peterson airforce base and they airforce academy thankyou for letting me get this of my chest if you have any questions just email me at hivbia@hotmail

HAHAHA Jamie! You all know every complaint on here is valid AND I was personally invited into the "church"!%MRCE, ChipSmith LLC, NGCC... Whatever you all wanna call yourselves doesn't matter, you decieve your customers and for instance when an Allstate customer asks about thier good driver check we were to tell them there would be no affect on that policy period, but the repair costs them that check. How can anyone in executive management of a Corp. for any lenth of time be incompitent to work for 5MRCE??? I remeber YOU allowing customers of cracked-out windshields sit n hold for over 20 min. so that they would be agreeable when you EVENTUALLY got back on the line. Can't say that only ex-employee's are complaining since that is ALL there is. The one retained employee 5MRCE did have got smart and is gone baby gone from the hell on earth that is 5MRCE. Should re-think the co. structure now that there are forums like these avail. to put the truth out there.

That tent insures more profit. No rent to be paid on multiple buildings, taxes, cost of design etc... If you have ever owned a business and rented, you would know. It is a small business with various locations, any similar business offering this service within a building location is NOT only fixing chips, they are multi level repairs and replacement, and more than JUST windsheilds. Every business of it's kind offering particular services has a sales pitch and it will always be a 50/50 kind of job. Some love the services, some don't. Some employees do well, some don't. You can't blame the company for so many people leaving the job, you have to factor rate of pay, other opportunities, location and such... Some folks grow tired of being outside, some find an indoor job paying similar. Clearly this job isn't for an uber educated grad student, it's for the average working man who works hard to provide.

he's also racist, i think he hates black ppl and I caught on to that. I remember he was so angry when one black guy was trained to handle inventory and he made HR kick him out of the office.. he hates Obama btw... it's a poorly ran business.. and they train almost anyone to handle the checks and deposit them. like who does that??? I would want a highly experienced person to handle any deposits for my company...
training only take about 3 days.. i remember my training on the first day, I had about 5 out of 8 hours of downtime, because the HR and the supervisor had to take care of some things... then on my 3rd day I was thrown on the phone to process claims immediately.
i've had about 94 hours on one check and was only paid 2 hours of overtime. HR never answers the phone when former employees call about their pay stubs, paperwork, etc.. they're ridiculous. They pretty much cross train you in a short period of time especially when you've just learned one thing, and then they want u to do it perfectly, w/no mistakes otherwise they'll fire you..
they basically want you to have an open sch. from 8 am to 8pm, and they basically change the sch. everyday so whatever your days off are, you're pretty gonna be scheduled... at the beginning they will tell u that you will get a $20 bonus for workin' on ur on-call day, but then they play it off and give you a different day off so that you won't get the bonus... one time the chippie a.k.a the glass tech received a 1600 bonus, and the csr's didn't get recognized for it...
anyways, i know that anyone who's worked for this company can concur.
In response to this comment, I too worked for them not too long ago and everything stated here is accurate. NEVER work for this shady company. I was barely trained and just like stated above I was often left alone to fend for myself when I was not trained in that area. They tried to put me in the hardest position (scheduling) within my first week there. The thing about scheduling is it isn't JUST scheduling. You are doing numerous jobs at one time. You have to do so much in scheduling that its really a two person job, yet they only have one person trying to run the entire circus. Its ridiculous how neglectful they are towards the employees. If you do one thing wrong or don't catch on to something within the first few minutes of being taught they will basically fire you. I stated that if things kept going like this I would be forced to resign.....the next day they chose to fire me. Yes, they are just that classy. Please heed this advice!!!

I know I could easily work at this company,(I've built aquariums that weigh more then a bus as well as being a medical courier for a long time..) but should I???? I've been on 5 websites with nothing but horrible reviews about this shady company, from both customers and employees. So basically this is what I think.. 1: the company is in a really shitty location, 2: they have no web presence besides terrible comments about service and employment. 3: no BBB presence ( which I trust the BBB very much) and this company has 8 complaints against them but no rating because they have never responded to these said complaints. Which is very usual of shady companies that refuse to own up to being a shit business.... 4: if I sent you my resume why would you want me to drive 40 miles to your HQ or whatever to bring a copy of my resume in????
Final thoughts..... Though I am desperate for a job, I just put my last 20 dollars in my gas tank and I can't bring myself to use it driving from Silverdale to Tacoma after seeing, reading and deducing all the information I've seen here tonight. If you're a legit company show it to the BBB and the customers that complained to them, cause they are what most people first look at when looking into a company and no rating usually means you don't care what customers think about you.
