Would like to hear other's thoughts on the Fruits of a Poisonous Tree Doctrine. Specifically, do you agree or disagree with this doctrine and why or why not?

For those who are not familiar with this doctrine, or legal term, the short explanation is if an officer obtains evidence, including statements, illegally than the evidence cannot be used in court. Legal-dictionary.thefreedictionary.com gives a more in-depth explanation.

Thanks in advance for your feedback, CC

Fruit of the poisionous tree doctrine in needed to keep jack boot thugs from abusing the citizens rights. If you aquire evidence contrary to the constitution it definately deserves to be thrown out and ill take it a step further and say If an LEO violates a constitutional right it should be a criminal offense.
