Get Scott Sharp's Book@ "Turn and face the threat"
You will be amazed at what this dirty little county is doing and has done.
Like Sharp or not it is factual.

"Scott sharp has penned a captivating, and sometimes jaw-dropping, account of law enforcement in a small Texas county. Story after story of bumbling deputies, cover-ups, and disregard of

even the most basic of human rights, leave the reader wondering how such obvious corruption and ineptitude can exist in today's society, especially within minutes of one of America's

largest cities. Pages will fly as the reader feels Mr. Sharp's frustration with his own department, his anguish over the treatment of his son, and his escalating desire to ensure that,

ultimately, integrity and honor prevail over corruption and malfeasance."

The only thing I am "revealing" here is your stupidity.
Your rants will do no good the people of Bandera County will elect our next Sheriff as it should be.
I just hope and pray this Sheriff will not be as crooked as our last one.

many of us are know how deep and nasty the corruption is and has been going on for numerous years .i do know and would like to point out to those who do not know smith ,that he is a good ,honest ,family man who HAS made changes that no one else before him gave a damn about . SMITH has gone the extra mile for the kids and continues to do so by doing all he can to prevent what has been ignored by ALL before him when it comes to the pedofiles and sex offenders .he cares about the families and the comunity and is trying his best to change the opinion they have about the BCSO by working with the people not against the people .smith is working hard to clean up the mess the ones before left behind it is a huge job and he deserves credit for sticking it out and not walking away from the little people that need him ,that is what makes him diffrent and that is why bandera needs him .he is not a saint ,just a good hearted moral man trying to make a diffrence ,and for this he has earned my repect and trust .i do not want to start an arguement with anyone, just want to say what i know ,i love bandera and medina lake ,i care what happens to my friends and family ,for now all i can do is pray .

Hey Brenda...go to the Sheriff's poll forum so you can get a better idea of the man you think you know...and then if you dare...do some open record requests and see for yourself what some of these candidates are all about.

ow about McGilvray? Wow... where do we start with that guy? McGilvray in a recent debate forum stated that he wasn't around to see the corruption of the Tucker administration. If you look at McGilvrays training records from the State of Texas, he doesn't have a break in service while at the BCSO. It's well known that he did leave or retire for an approximate year or so time frame, yet his record does not show that absence. So why hasn't McGilvray set his own record straight with the state or us as voters? And ask McGilvray why he didn't call in outside authorities when the former Sheriff threw out a meth lab which led to a garbage truck catching fire? He was there....with the Sheriff's brother investigating the issue.(Bandera PD reports show this) The former BPD Chief of Police, former fire marshal, the Tucker Brothers and McGilvray himself all covered up Sheriff Tuckers blunder (State and federal law violations). At least two complaints brought by two females (one a minor) reported that McGilvray, while in the capacity of deputy sheriff, touched them inappropriately. The Tuckers seemed to have done nothing to investigate these allegations. A complaint was filed with the Tucker administration by Sharp, who was the administrator over investigative websites in 2008, where Sharp found that McGilvray was using taxpayer funded investigative websites to further McGilvrays wife's real estate business by locating the names and information of property owners in the county. These illegal acts by McGilvray cost the county every time an official report was pulled from the website. Oh and as far as McGilvrays claim that he wants to protect the constitutional rights of our citizens? Ask Mcgilvray how he could take a simple verbal argument complaint between a husband and wife, and use his position to interrogate the complainant in an attempt to create a criminal issue to gain an advantage in civil litigation to help his boss..former Sheriff Tucker..by coercing and intimidating a complainant into signing a document which the complainant did not write, but was written at the hands of McGilvray himself (federal depositions show this). Now that's protecting our constitutional rights isn't it? Its one thing to see corruption and document it and report it after you think you have enough to bring down the house..but another thing to be part of it, engage in it and then deny that you were even around during the time that it was occurring! All of this would come out if there would ever be a debate where the candidates could engage one another...but until that time... the voters have no clue who or what or how they need to vote. Oh and ask an inmate named Mark Roach what it is to suffer abuse at the hands of a cop...while hadcuffed? McGilvray and others know about this. Its a shame that a person like this believes that he is capable and honorable enough to be our next sheriff. When will this madness end?

wow ,i am amazed that mcgilvray is running, its like putting a donkey in a horse race .i hope those that do not know him that will read what you have posted ,i knew he was dirt ,but this takes it to another level ! i just pray every one will start working together to get rid of trash like this .thank you for the info ,i may need it in the near future .i have reasons to go after him and will do so .as for smith ,i will look and hope they are petty things and stupid legit mistakes ,he is not a saint.as for the rest i dont know much except none of them have truely stood out and seem to be repeating the same things over and over again ,not addressing exactly how and why they will make life better for everyone counting on changes ,justice and protection .
