Do you have a medical horror story to tell? If so, please post it below.
I lost my beloved son last week due to medical mistakes and medical negligence on the part of his doctors.
I have found that because of "tort reform" it is impossible to hold a doctor or any medical personnel accountable for negligence resulting in death of a loved one.
When "tort reform" was passed, "doctors" from all over the country - indeed, from all over the world flocked to Texas in droves knowing that if their actions resulted in the death of a patient, there would be NO CONSEQUENCES...none at all!
It has now become my mission in life to have the tort reform laws repealed. Doctors and other medical personnel MUST BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE when a patient's death results from improper treatment and care.
My son died a long, slow, agonizing death caused directly by his doctors. I have medical records where each of his doctors places blame for his death directly on each other and, still, I can't find an attorney to take this case because of tort reform.

Texas doctors have a license to kill. They are not held accountable for their actions, there are no consequences for them to suffer.

I need your help in having this ridiculous law repealed. Please share your story.

My best friend had a mastectomy done on one of her breast. it was completely taken off.she was constantly in pain, and was always telling the doctor about it but he never wanted to help her. he never did labs to check on her, he never gave her MRI's or Xrays to see what was going on. he was an a** and treated her like crap. she was 29, had undergone a mastectomy, and had asthma. well two months after her surgery she had passed. till this day her family, which resides in VA are still trying to get justice for the malpractice that took her life.

The medical profession cares nothing about patients, they see them as "income" and will do unnecessary surgery or procedures, x-rays, etc. whatever they can to make the most money and the hell with patient safety. Doctors are nothing more than pill-pushers for the big pharmaceutical companies. Have you noticed that when your doctor walks in to see you, he is ALWAYS carrying a prescription pad? If you believe the U.S. "has the BEST medical care in the world," think again... we're No. 38!
