If they were leasing a home there...wouldn't it be the owner of the home that they would be negotiating?
Why would they be concerned about the sales staff.
This does not pass the smell test.
Because it was them who would do nothing to work with us. No admittance to ANY facilities.

I'm prety sure wes is an employee of the ranch. Why else would someone come on here and basically call people liars.
Defend the development to the bitter end.
See his location change? This wes is a joke.

@Sunny - You did not own/buy property from Bridlegate. You were never a property owner. Sorry it did not work out for you. You are entitled to your opinion but it sounds like your difficulties are between you and the people you had the lease with. Bridlegate does not lease or even sell homes. The property owner forum is comprised of property owners , if you are a property owner and have concerns it makes sense to discuss them there instead of with angry folks like Shadow. If you wish to complain go ahead, but if you are looking for a way to accomplish something check with the people who live there.

Man what a control freak. Might I suggest you take a hike back over to the we love bridlegate forum sponsored by the we want to sell bridlegate people.
Why are you here to begin with? This thread is titled "BEWARE of BRIDLEGATE not we love bridlegate.
Oh and they are accomplishing something-getting the word out about what they believe are wrong doings at bridlegate. They don't have that right in your little world is that it?

Nothing to be leary about Bridlegate Ranch. We took our time searching for property and spoke to them several times before actually buying and never once did we feel like they were "snake oil salesman". Very straight forward about the river levels and the Ranch house/suites availability. It is hard but we have stayed in them several times already and have loved it. Any moron would know that with a drought water levels drop, get real! Bridlegate is a wonderful place that our entire family and friends love. We have referred several people and some have even bought. Bridlegate is a wonderful, quiet, hill country lving community that we owners are very proud to say we live.

Glad you had a good experience. The point of this thread is to talk about what other people have experienced as well as you.
Sometimes tempers flare but it is all in good faith.
Some people have had really bad experiences and some have not.
There are poster here that wish they never heard of bridlegate.

Shadow- I am here because I noticed there were people on this forum that were looking for a place to connect with "actual" bridlegate owners. I have no problem with you posting your complaints. You complain about everything. I am actually glad to see that you have a place to miserable. Have fun with that...

It is not realistic to come to a thread that specifically titled
"Beware of Bridlegate Ranch" and expect to find happy people.
I suggested that before and the mess that that developement made out of a beautiful ranch bothers a lot of people here also.
Aside from looks there are quite a few people un happy with their experiences at the ranch.
I would still suggest you author a thread asking for people who have had good experiences and leave this thread alone.
Pointing out things that are not going right is not complaining.
Why is it you constantly complain about people expressing their own opinion? Talk about a complainer-go look in the mirror.

I stumbled upon this thread because I was curious about Bridlegate. However I found it an entertaining discourse in politics. One makes a point the other shoots it down. Then one jumps to berate the author, which I point out to anyone with half a brain, you can post under any psuedonym, however it doesn't seem to enter into the equation. What it boils down to is some whining and some attempting to calm the whine. I guess you (all) have done nothing to give me any credible feedback other than your incessant personal attacks. So what have you gained?

Now I'm sure you'll throw me under the bus. Have at it.

first let me appologize for not responding to the recent posts, unlike shadow, I have a life.

I do have a suggestion...why not start an owners group, where we could chat about real concerns without all the distractions.

As for me being an employee? nope.

Good Morning All,

I did go ahead and create a group for constructive comments and a place to compare experiences.

The address is
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/BridlegateRanch...

I do not have any pictures yet, so please feel free to post some.

The group will be moderated, so any flaming of other members will not be tolerated.

This is NOT sponsored by Bridlegate, and although they are welcome to visit and even comment, that is not the intent.

Enjoy!

I'll be building soon, relatively, on Horseshoe Falls...any mechanism to connect to other Bridlegate owners?

just plopped down some doe on a river lot. yes the river is low in most spots and dry in many.
just like everything in life, especially large financial investments, risk is a part of it.
this will be my 3rd southerland community property bought since 1995 and all previous investments were even more risky than bridalgate, yet all turned out to be more than expected and southerland did above and beyond. we also just stayed at the guest house and called two days before and got in like flint and were treated like kings/queens. so much for all the naysayers...

You will probably not get a response.
New Buyer probably works there selling lots. The people who have posted on here had very negative things to say about them.
Some posters tried to turn people to other threads to get away from the truth.
Beware of Bridlegate Ranch is the name of this thread
