If you're not careful Senator Lindsey Graham will give you this as your next US Attorney for the district of South Caroling replacing Reggie Lloyd. Reggie Lloyd was recently (Jan '08) selected by Governor Mark Sanford to be the next director of SLED.

I only hope that there will be fewer Nol Pross cases in the coming years, especially those in which the victim is the last to know that the case was handled in this manner. We need more Courtroom time, not less. It's all well and good to provide shelter for battered family members...more protection and counseling for these battered human beings is what is called for and higher bails so that these brutally hateful, mean spirited human beings can't get out to threaten the victims again. I was going to say animals but that would be degrading to all four legged animals on the face of the earth. "Brutally hateful" and "mean spirited" is a description that is apt.
