One day john was coming home from a shoot from Cal. and a man met him on the plane , he was a christian man and
john knew that he was headed for more trouble . He asked the man to pray for him . The man told him this "John

After the man had told my uncle
these words of advice

To set the record straight, there are absolutely no known cases, or claims by anyone stating that they "contracted HIV" from John Holmes.
"The Christian man on the plane" that you refer to is a former LAPD police officer and he has not condemned your uncle. Rather, he reached out to John during a dark and desperate time in his life.
In essence, if we are brutally honest, we all make mistakes in life, big and small, no matter who we are. John Holmes was not an inherently "bad" person, and compassion should be all inclusive, even for those who fall from grace.

i was not going to even go there with this all over again
first of all yes i do mind that he infected others with aids
and if you read this clearly
yes i know who the man on the plane was
he was simply telling john
that he was not invinsible that every man at one time or another will find himself knowing that GOD is in control
of thier life .
i never said i didnt love him

the part that upsets me is people
still think he was some kind of Good person that should be recognized for what he did . When what he did was sin and as a result he sowed what he reaped on earth .

If i did blame anyone it would be the step father that beat him all the time
and the Porm industry for finding his weak spot and using his penis for profit .

First off you have yet to name even ONE person who John supposedly infected with the HIV virus. Not ONE NAME has ever been raised that he supposedly "infected".

Secondly for all the pain that you say John inflicted on the family, you have not chosen to address what John's wife, Sharon, said in John's biopic. That his childhood was one in which men came into his life and his house who were drunken and abusive. That these men beat him and even vomited on him. You talk about the shame that John brought upon the family, but where was the family when he was a young boy and needed protected?

So John was a porn star. Big deal. That was his choice, how does that impugn the family? If I were a family member I'd be more concerned about the actions (really inactions) that Sharon said the family did to John when he was a boy. Who knows, maybe if you had that sort of thing happen to you, you would not have become the model citizen that you appear to be.

I do not condemn John Holmes. He was an imperfect man like the rest of us. Saw his life decline due to drugs. But many of his friends have spoken of his kind heart. That's the Johnny C that many of us choose to remember.

It is hard to believe that the twentieth anniversary of his untimely death is coming soon... It seems like only yesterday...
