this is in reference to Sikeston Mo, and Cape Mo.

Late 2008 through early 2009, there was an employee hired at the Sikeston Arbys, that had been released from Charleston jail, because he was to sick with hepatitus and was a risk to the other inmates. Arbys mgt was told about this person in advance, and they hired this individual anyway. At the time, glove use was not enforced, and this employee routinely came to work with open sores, because he was a drug addict, and shot up often. This was reported because it was a threat to public safety., and is transmitted from open cuts and sores. I worried because I had lots of family and friends that ate at Arbys during this time. I had no choice but to contact the supervisor, and let them know that this was very concerning to me. As a result I was personally placed in the position to work alongside this individual in what seemed a retalitory act.there are other issues as well.I sent the CEO Tom Garrett an email expressing my concern with many of the practices being used in the Mo Arbys,--- email Sent: Tue 7/14/09 5:38 AM

quote from my email
"In closing, there are some real issue's that concern me, and from a liablity standpoint, should be concerning to you.
****** at many store's and many time's has, and continue's to instruct employee's to pick up a beef, that has fallen on the floor, and dust it off, and place it on the slicer. I witnessed this in Cape, and was the sandwich maker, and we served a whole beef on friday lunch, that had fallen on the floor, and ***** said, just dust it off, because none of the other beef is done."

And of course I never even got a phone call or a reply to my email. for those of you who dont realize a 10lb beef can make up to 50 sandwiches, so ultimately,50 people ate sandwiches that were served from beef right off the floor.

this is just the smallest portion of what has been going on lately at the local Arbys in this area. I have filed complaint with the police dept,NWC, NAACP,and the EEOC. This type of situation is just not acceptable, and I expressed it clearly with hundreds of Arbys Execs, and the CEO. It seems, that this may be more widespread than originally thought, according to health dept statement concerning an outbreak stemed from arbys meat cutters
