Know Before You Go! Be Prepared For I-270 Lane Changes - KTVI

Rush hour commuters traveling Interstate 64 from West St. Louis County need to be aware of some changes.

I am sorry to see the dedicated lanes disappear. Due to retirement I do not commute any more. Prior to the dedicated lanes there wer so, so many late lane changes by aggressive drivers that were very dangerous. The dedicated lanes allow quequeing up ahead of time and seemed to reduce last minute changes. This should be advantageous especially in this travel safe zone. The volume of traffic going north or south on 270 justifies the dedicated lanes. Please go back to the dedicated exit lanes.

Police need to make their presense known there, or this is going to be a total nightmare. Not only are there tooo many aggressive drivers out there, but too many people fail to simply read the street signs.
