that comes to $220/hour, that's what I call NY salary.

This is great. They bought the house, knew the bats were there, were told to wait a bit and then get rid of them. Instead, they completely abdicated their responsbility by forgetting to do what they were told, so now it's time to sue the insurance company? Exactly what part of this makes it the insurance company's problem? And we all wonder why our insurance is so high even without hurricanes...

It reminds me of the illegal immigrant problem we have in Florida. Just a few to start, before you know it the problem gets way out of hand. How much it's going to cost us to clean this mess up? Higher taxes? Putting our children in dept? Our just let it run its course and let it destroy our country from the inside out? If I wanted to live in Haiti, D.R., Guatemala or Venezuela I would had move there. If they are going to move to our country the least you can do is try to learn the language and customs, rather than force everyone else to accept theirs. If I lived in another country I would have learn how to speak their language and customs. How come they canít do the same here? Anger? No, frustration!!!

My .02 cents worth.

Guys,
Bat guano is a very good fertilizer for orchids. Bag the stuff and sell it for about $6.00/pound. I bet thats what the people who removed the guano did. Charged you and made money on it too!

sorry, no coverage for vermin, rodents and pests. Look at your policy.

The fact that they knew about the bats and waited is a perfect example of why insurance companies exclude the above mentioned "critters".

Guano sounds like latin side-dish. It's poop.

I was thinking the same thing. First of all,$25,000 to vacuum out some guano sounded a little steep, I would rent a big vac and do it myself and make at least that much selling it. Someone's getting ripped off and someone's getting rich.

Wow! They could make a whole lot of cosmetics from this and triple their money. All they need to do is get rid of the stink. I hope it doesn't wind up in our foods or dietary supplements.
